Hello Forex Peace Army,

I answered an ad on Financial, Craigslist Dallas.

I deposited $1,000 with a company called SmarttFXOnline.com

They said they would grow the $1,000 to $10,000 in 10 days.

After depositing Dennis Coleman my supposed rep aka scammer then said I need to pay their fees of 20%.

I said no have them take your fees out of my $10,000.

He said no it is stated on the website the fees must be paid upfront.

If you take a look at their website it is not stated there.

What can be done regarding this?

I also have Dennis Coleman's phone number.

I was really hoping for this to be the real deal.

Please advise.

Thanks,

KurtN

As a experienced trader I can say only one thing that STAY AWAY from such kind of TRAP. You have to understand that if they make you 10k in just 10 day by your 1k then why they are not earning for their-self?

If you are in the US, file complaints with www.CFTC.gov, IC3.gov eConsumer.gov and your local police department's fraud division. Report the scam to Craig's List.

Be glad you didn't pay the 20%. There would have been a new excuse not to pay you and a sudden requirement for more money. This would have only ended when you refused to pay another cent.

How did you send the initial $1000?
