Should I close my position before high impact news?

Yes, it's risky and stressful, at least for me. :D
Often after news high impact as released then pair move suddenly to down or up with strong movement, but not too long time them move suddenly vice versa and also strong movement, making stress maybe for technical trader

Yes i have seen the news and the moves that took place in the EURUSD and i can say for sure that we have to look for such types of news in the markets :)

True, if I had an unlimited money supply I would trade just for fun. :D

We are trading with funds and we all know that if we will not have the required margins in our trading accounts the trades can never be carried forward and we have to understand this before doing our trades :D

A good option is to close half position and break even the rest. So if price goes in your favor, you can get extra cash and if price reverses on you, you will still be safe from any losses.

If already on profit floating might we can modify order at least on break even point and let the market later will answer, if after news hit stop loss so still in zero loss and profit, but if trend continue hence will get more profit

That is also a good approach, especially if you are relatively sure what the consequences of said high impact event will be.
