I got the decision of the Financial Ombudsman in August. They said I must be reimbursed 170k. After talking a couple of times with Bruce (if real name) | thought we will find solution but I was wrong.

So this whole long and nerves taking process with Ombudsman is worthless because anyway they will not accept the decision if it is in clients favour. They hope clients give up and don't start a stressful trial.

To BdB. I am still willing to close this case by terms discussed with Bruce but not for long. Your violations are clear no matter what I have signed.

No its not worthless, a positive ombudsman decision is excellent :) any court judge will follow their
decision, which will allow you to sue those *******s for good ! including repair damage etc…
 
The decision of the Ombudsman is disgusting reading. If I don't get a decent solution I will make it public and not only here but in newspapers too.

It would surely get attention because of the amount and the behauvior of the "managers" of EU-licensed company.
 
It looks very much like one scammer covering for another from the interactions I've had with them and their crappy responses to my queries on their lack of will power and unwillingness to act as a proper regulator to stop the scammers from using Cyprus as a jurisdiction to scam victims globally. Instead they too are trying to raise money by asking for EUR20 to "review" your complaint then tell you they have no jurisdiction to do so. Seriously??????
 
Ombudsmans are just mediators, no one ever pointed out they would have some legal powers to oblige their businesses to reimburse victims, that BDB refuses to comply to the decision, should not surprise anybody, what do you expect from a company using fake names as an unlimited list of scamming……

Fact it’s urgent for the Cyprus PROSECUTOR to step in, and say STOP, also allow victims to recover their funds including repair !

I could not agree more.
Having a respected third party agree with you is powerful.
Next step should court of law.

Sue for money, time, stress, anything and everything.
Get a good lawyer that works on commission and turn him loose with all this.
 
Post the Ombudsman decision here so everyone can see it.

Make sure to let Cysec know that BDB is ignorong the Cyprus Ombudsman. Maybe that will be enough to finally get BDB kicked out of Cyprus.
