Hello,

Thank you everyone for sharing your stories on BdB.. At first I've been feeling sick to my stomach from having lost so much money in the recent months. But now that I've come across this community, I'm glad for the support I've been reading from everyone around the world.

Very similarly, I've been duped and scammed on by BdB account managers who kept assuring me that they could be trusted and that they had my interests at heart. All in all, within 2 months, I lost USD62,150 to 2 different account managers. My third and last account manager once again asked me to deposit more money for him to help me reinstate my account to its former glory.. but when I refused, he told me I'm wasting his time because he is not able to help me recoup my losses and that I should just close out my account.

When I wrote in to the compliance department at BdB, they did not reply my email at all. I wrote in to the complaints department, I'm still awaiting their reply. I've saved all the transaction details and the trade details, as well as all the emails to and fro from the account managers to back up my story.

Anyone able to help give further advice on how I am able to get back my lost funds?? I've wiped out all my savings, and I'm now stuck with a huge credit card debt that I'm unable to pay off as a first time mum who stopped work to look after her child :'( Because of BdB's unscrupulous ways, I'm not even able to look after my newborn in peace...

Hi ,
How did you deposit ? and where do you live?
If you deposit by credit card less than 120 days ago you could try and request your bank for a chargeback .
In order to succeed in your chargeback you need to know few basic things on how it works , how to prepare a claim , what are the deadlines , and what supporting documents you need to submit with your request for a chargeback. each case are different and each bank also , some bank staff are lazy and not helpful at all.
You must try with your credit card provider to request a retrieval / chargeback under the rule which is covered under section 75 of the consumer credit Act 1974, You should insist on your credit card provider by demonstrating that the Binary Option provider "didn't supply you with the services that they advertised at the time of purchase", they traded in a careless , irrational and unprofessional way, after initially promising you proper training and a safe trading strategy, they recklessly traded your money away!
you can't just submit a weak request with general statement "services not rendered" and without supporting documents as it will be rejected , you need to list their advertised services one by one and criticize each and every item they did not provide you with supporting evidences.

You could contact Rebecca at WinChargeback.com and she will guide you. Good Luck!

Hi,
I'm in Singapore and I deposited via credit cards, but my banks are unwilling to help me as they said I fully authorised the transactions. Have contacted WinChargeback.com already, and they're looking to review if I have a case at all *crosses fingers*

I'm panicking so much, I can't eat or sleep....

Hi alvee_nah,

Don't panic , I know you are frustrated because the shock is still fresh.. take a deep breath and calm down .. you should have the will and power to fight back and you will get all the help you need from FPA.

If your bank is unwilling to help you could file a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman with all supporting documents.
On the other hand, since you are in Singapore and while waiting for WinChargeback response you could get in touch with Tommisu who has been a victim in the past and managed to get his funds back as noted here he is offering a similar recovery service and could help you as well, check here .

I am from same SG and an earlier victim of BDB. Don't stop your fight. You need to escalate further. I got partial money back.

Same here, where banks initially didn't accepted my dispute i.e with same reason that transaction was authorized. Raised a case with reason "Services not rendered as described" and with all supporting documents.

Good that you approached lawyer. If still banks didn't accept dispute case, include MAS in your dispute mails to banks. Banks need to accept your case.

After escalation, at least MAS added these merchants in their fraud list. However, I am still requesting for a complete ban (same as done in US, Australia etc,.)

All the best in your fight and feel free to ping privately if require any assistance.

Hi,
I can relate to your problem, as they did the exact same thing and some hot shot broker started calling again to deposit atleast 10,000 dollars in order to 'help' me get back my funds. I have lost over 21k dollars with Ban De Binary and now I am left with nothing to fight them and get it all back.
I propose that all victims get together and make a list and fight it together as even the law firms I have come across dont disclose the number of people affected in a class action lawsuit. We are losing time and honestly I have no direction as to where to go and fight them.
Regards,

Don't delay - if BDB is really shutting down, go for a chargeback now. If your bank won't help, Try Tommisu or WinChargeback for assistance as fast as possible.

Contacted WinChargeback but they mentioned that I did not have a case based on the little proofs that I had... contacted my banks as well and they said I authorised the transactions so they do not find any evidence in my complaints... it's getting extremely depressing for me right now... I'll have to move on to another option then. Have contacted Tommisu, I hope he can help!

I totally understand how you feel too, as I have nothing left in my savings.. so thinking about going legal does not look like an option, unless the lawyers are willing to do it pro bono... or if they're willing to be paid only upon me winning the case and getting back my deposits :'(
