These guys are shonky. They invoice you for services never asked for or delivered and then pass your details to Dunn and Bradstreet for debt collection. The amount is small enough that you might pay it just to get them off your back and preserve your credit rating. They claim to be ASIC regulated so I have complained to the regulator about their unethical practices. I was called but foolishly accepted a free trial. Then they sent the documentation which imposed a penalty for not completing the training. Had I taken the training there were offers of trading signals.

Be careful what you agree to on any marketing calls.

Brilliant idea - sell long term signals packages while binaries are getting outlawed in country after country.

Hi Robert,
I am in a similar situation to you. I too have received an invoice for services that I never received or agreed to. I have contacted NSW Dept of Fair Trading and they have recommended that I try resolving the matter amicably with the WBE first and to escalate the matter into a compliant with them if this fails. I also noted that there are many others affected by this misconduct / scam. See scamoption.com/question/world-binary-exchange/ and complaintsboard.com/profile-1617399. Maybe we should all join forces to fight these fraudsters. Please reply to this post if you are interested. Regards Gana

Hi Robert,

Hi,

I have also been scammed by them. I have made a closed facebook group called 'World Binary Exchange Scam Action Group' so that we can all exchange notes and take this to the media and have them pursue this matter on our behalf. Would love for you to join the group.

Can't see your email add.

FPA Forums Team Note: That is correct. We removed it. There have been too many instances of people offering "secret" information about companies for a fee. The information is usually expensive and is typically either easy to find online or else incorrect.

Actually, was looking for any other emails of the company but can't find one. The one in their website I think is a catch email.

This is interesting. Well, to put it simply Binary Trading is really not "trading" like the ones you see on Wall Street. A little research can give you answer. It's betting on where a certain market is going - up or down. When your bet is correct, you win, if wrong, you lose. And binary options, as pointed by Pharoah are getting outlawed in many countries.

But the problem with most commenters I encounter is that they are too naive and doesn't really know. For one, the comments here are basically an issue of not showing up from scheduled appointment having been invoiced without receiving a service. I don't know the details of the transaction they have entered into. That being said, I believe they have not really used the services of this company or might have not really used a service or done binary trading.

Failure to provide promised services (promised training, promised easy withdrawals, promised "no loss" trades, promised "insurance") is a very simple reason behind many successful chargebacks I've seen reported here.

For those with larger amounts due and uncooperative credit card issuers, WinChargeback can often help.

For those ready to take the brokers to the wall, WinThisCase can refer lawyers.

Also, the ISA and US authorities want to hear all about any binary scams. Report them to:

www.isa.gov.il/sites/ISAEng/CONTACT/Pages/default.aspx

IC3.gov, CFTC.gov, and SEC.gov

The more information put into the system (especially information about how deposits were processed) the better the chances these criminals won't get to retire using their ill-gotten gains.
