I was watching the NFP today under a microscope and I noticed a big difference between it and other spikes. Namely, it just went up rather than doing a freaky deaky upee downee thing.
That made me think...does slippage ever work in our favor?
If so, why don't we just set a trade last thing on Fri. night, and then a spastically close t/p and a spastically far s/l?
If your broker isn't trying to find ways to raid you account, and is satisfied with just doing the tax man thing of getting you coming and going, then they still get the spread if you go for this strategy.
