Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

probably there is no one answer to this, but there are people here that trade the news succesfully, so you may help us finding a decent broker and platform:)

Many good brokers to invest, except Figfx!

You can find the review of each broker on FPA, it is helpful, Avoid Figfx! and any broker on SCAM List, Do not falling any trap of scammer, and think it over before send them your money...Good Luck :)

Be carefull with market makers, they will give you good price at the begining but after the see you are making good money, they will start the slippages every time you try to enter with news releases.

You can try jumping from one to another but don't know if you are willing to spend the time and doing the paper work.

If you try ECN Brokers be sure you get one that has strong liquidity providers and many of them, you will have more chance to get a good price, but still you will face troubles after some time if your earnings are big.

Greatings,

News trading is extremely challenging way and before you even go to broker discussion, it is must to be good in your own skills. It is obvious that broker too means a lot with news trading or scalping. I am currently using Octafx and with their cTrader platform.

I will suggest you one thing and that’s cTrader platform. It’s irrelevant whether you pick this or that broker, BUT do PICK cTrader and believe me you will know the difference straight way. I am not new fashion or that type instead if given choice I will stay same for years without changing things and having traded with Mt4 for years, I don’t think I ever even thought of switching platforms, but ever since I have tried cTrader, I feel GREAT. So, go with broker that offers this platform especially for news!

You are totaly right, there is much to consider when trading news. Pre trading, spike trading ir after trading all have their own complexity, but since you are talking about speed I guess what you also need is a very fast data provider.

I know FxPro has CTrader but they are half market makers so I don't know for how long they will support your trading with good entries.

How about Octafx? Is it faster un CTrader than it is un MT4?

Also, I do think that the Broker is still very relevant choise to make!

Yup, I believe news trading is not for those who can’t afford shake so early in their career. It’s more for those who are above losses, at least temporary. As per FXPro, I haven’t worked with them, but if they are offering cTrader then it’s worthy giving it a shot.

I might not be the guy to say this because I am no expert (master), but people who are known here and have been in field of trading for decades will easily know that in recent times, its cTrader platform that’s gaining popularity. As per Octafx, I think the biggest difference between Mt4 and cTrader is that the requotes are lowered quite a lot during high impact news like NFP which I trade commonly on. However, the thing that impresses one is the whole structure of cTrader when compared with Mt4. It’s certainly more stylish and advanced, but it is equally good in content as well, but then this is really my view only, I am sure many might still consider Mt4 better, but at least not me.
