Bonds and Co Wealth Management are a complete scam. Colin Macarthur and Oliver Woods will try to get you to put more money in and blitz you with calls before refusing to return money and ignoring calls and emails. They will quote a £100,000 trading limit before withdrawls that is not in their terms and conditions. The links on their website are bogus and their "market reports" are copies of respectable market research firms with their name on it. The website said they were a subsidiary of FX World and then IDEA Capital Limited but the GFSC has warned that they are not. They are not registered and unregulated. They claim to use ring fenced accounts in proper UK banks but empty and close the accounts as soon as you pay in. Avoid, do not pay and report to the authorities!

Anybody else ripped off by them?

Is this website is correct bondsandco.com or they have a diffreent website?

I just found this and read the article today - I have already invested into their spread trading account and their multicurrency fund of funds. Quite a substantial amount in total. I tried to make a withdrawal about a month ago for a small amount which they did process.

Has anyone else been a victim to this? What would be the advice on getting this money out as quickly/safely as possible?

I invested £5k on 17 February 2017,Colin Macarthur and Oliver Woods kept on calling with new IPO asking to invest more, I requested for £700 dividend withdrawal after 3 months which they never credit to my account.I left several emails and messages all in vain.no email acknowledgements or reply. On July 27 I requested to liquidate my account,Chelsea from Their so called accounts department promised that I will get my investment back without any profit or dividends in 90 days.I called back after 90 days.(2 calls and 1 email daily ).after 2 weeks Colin Macarthur called back and said that I will get my 5k back if I allow him to do trading on my account for another 21 days and there are ''Wagering Requirements'' where the total trading volume should reach 30k if I want my 5k back.I know I will not get my money back.Anyone else would like to contribute for hiring and filing a Law suit?

Hi Shabibsyed,

I feel your pain. I invested £15k into multiple products of theirs, and although I have not tried to withdraw this money yet (except for a few small withdrawals that went through fine) I am convinced I will never see this money again. As a first time investor this is a huge hit and I lack the knowledge to deal with this kind of situation - however I would be willing to work with other people who have fallen for this scam, if there's even a chance I can get this money back.

In the meantime I'm questioning whether I should tip them off and tell them I want to liquidate everything, or play it safe and try and recover small amounts at a time. I'm doing the second option right now, but it makes me sick to the stomach that I have to continue to be polite to this man whenever he calls my desk phone.

Hi SwiftKytori,

you are doing the right thing ,once your 15k is back in small amounts your stomachache will ease.Meanwhile when he calls ask him about trading volume and wagering requirements policy.Tell him at the time of investment you were not informed about this policy and that they are registered under a ring fence as security license company with Vanuatu financial commission.
keep us posted .

Thanks Shabibsyed - do you have a link to the page that shows them registered with VFSC? I can't seem to find anything on their website. Here's hoping that if they're bound under some sort of regulations there may still be hope.
