This is just one of those handy little things to know...... if you don't know.

If you use the Metatrader platform there is a very useful tool that will tell you the number of pips between two points, and the number of candles.

Select the crosshair and then simply click and drag from your point A to your point B.

The first number will tell you how many candles there are between the two points, and the second the number of pips.

Hope you find it useful.

Nice tip Sir

It is one of what I am looking for as a newbie. I was wondering what should I look for to start with! I am currently practicing demo. But I do not know what kind of tools are there to help me!

There are a lot of tools out there. You must first need to know which ones you need.

Different tools available for different requirements. First know your needs and then look for the tools. Hopefully you can find a lot for free.

Red Herring,

you maybe do not need to look for any tools right now! (at least it appears as that)

Your best bet -as a newbie- would be to go through the education sections here:
https://www.forexpeacearmy.com/forex-forum/education/ in particular
the "Forex military school" does an awesome great job. You can consider this free resource to be of better quality than the majority of paid courses.

After that you do not need to search for resources, but you will search for answers. Because you then know what you would like to achieve.. then searching the solution for it.

hope that helps :)
