Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Problem IC Markets is a true scammer

I am having an issue with a company
Here is a list of other known issues...

Freezing platform
Occasional huge slippage
Regular Requotes... *by an ECN provider .... hmmm, funny how this can happen so frequent on a daily basis that I need to press 10 continuous times to have the execution done once
They either Hedge against us or through put orders to their preferred LP's starting with their subsidiary companies whom acts as if they know of our current cash conditions, account positions, and somehow knows our summarized conditioned as to margin call distance etc...

by the way, I mainly trade CFD on index and very little forex due to a 98% losing trade on IC. Am I missing something, maybe anyone familiar with the mechanism of a Index CFD's could explain how my above issues could actually be of a natural occurences.. appreciate all the help.

unfortunately I dont think it will help. CFD is a gray zone, unregulated over there which just proves to me to stay away from aussie brokers.

i too am collecting footage to present in court there manipulation of price is trerrible and there is 0 ways to make any money complete con job i like like the way if you open any deal up or down it just gos the other way to the pip is a joke that thay have any customers got too laugh i will show this in court at some point people could not be that unlucky over and over again

The people from my era and the snb guys did not get their money back. Just be careful when trading there.

i have been for months looking for a true ECN broker that doesnt ask for 10000 dollars min deposit. I thought about IC markets but since you are still waiting for a resolution im not sure.

ASIC said they couldnt do anything (as you probably already know). the problem is, it is a gray area. sad but true. kinda useless and waste of time even writing the report for them but life goes on.

Yes, is there any updates and progress on your issues & problems with this bucketshop ASIC regulated broker??

welcome to the club & re whatever you posted... I experienced them too years ago :)
imo there is nothing you can do except look for a good, reliable broker (v rare) or become good enough that people fund you.
pretty obvious this one is v dishonest

Ps: Please look through the forums. There is another victim here who posted a screenshot from them, listing him as a "B Book" client which tells you everything you need to know... that they are probably bucketshop.

I can tell you one thing. If you are trading indices (e.g Dow,Nikkei, SP500 etc) on CFD, you are 100% trading against a bookmaker/bucket shop or something similar.

Why? Simple.

The exchanges in charge of those derivatives do not offer these as CFD. They only come as futures or ETF form which require much bigger margins. I been trading those these past yrs, and know this for a fact.

There are more complaints on this loonie broker I-See-Bucketshop a.k.a ICMarkets in other sites & forums with their equally loonie CEOs posing as "ordinary forumers" throwing everything, including their stinking kitchen sink & filthy toilet bowl, to defend their two-bit-broker company.
Their revenue must be at rock bottom as they have to scrap & scam evermore from whatever clients they have left just to get by.
