Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

I don't know them (LTG) but what is it that you don't like about them Jobe2433?

I've tried a few, in my case it was really a socializing exercise rather than trying to learn something new, but it never worked out for me. I found you either had a situation where nobody knew anybody and so it was all very boring and sterile, or it was little cliquey groups that had a history together and so became exclusive and elitist.

I give them a miss now and find like minded people and information (free) on forums such as this one and through my blog, so sorry I can't answer your question.

I'd be interested to know what you or others are hoping to get out of trading rooms though, which seem to sprout like mushrooms these days.

Hi jobe,

I would not recommend any trading room, because trading forex is a one man show. The more discussion, the more distraction, and being distracted is the worst case in forex trading! Get some experience by trading yourself, then try to set up a trading style that suits your profit target and your mentality. There is no other way to do it!

Try to imagine you will find trade room of your dreams, 50 pips/daily, low costs you will be happy and earn money. After few months tthis trading room will be closed and youll stay on floor and realize all your trades were automatic without using your brain without gaining experiences etc .. Then you start seekin for another trading room ? : )

I dont want to advice you what to do, it is your time, your life, your trading style, but try to trade 80 % of trades by your decision and 20 % trade based on some trading room, and you will see progress :)

Have to agree with some of the points made here by Ricex and Market Educational. Trade rooms are springing up all over the place and probably close just as quickly and I agree with Market Ed. that you could learn little. I am a member of a room myself and find it educational and reliable. I've been a member for over 6 months, although not sure how long it has been running. Certainly no guarantees of "50 pips dailly". No false promises but different strategies which overall make a profit. Trades are not taken for the sake of it and on a lot of occasions no trades are placed in a week or longer. This is the right thing if the market is not right and I am certainly starting to learn and understand why I shouldnt trade when the "signs" are wrong. The room I use is WDFX.co.uk. They have a signal service for intraday trading which has a trade copier and a long term(intraweek) strategy which also has a trade copier. Another guy demonstrates thrust trading which is very good and there is a link to a tradestation platform using another system which is very good. On the downside there are times when the room is very quiet. If you log in you can see charts etc but none of the presenters are talking. This is because there isnt much happening but i think the time could be filled better with more training. I'm just a member and not trying to sell anyone anything. Its reasonably priced and will make you money. Market Ed I see you are looking to offer coaching. Be interested to hear more from you

Trading rooms are only for mentoring purposes.
You are not meant to continue using trading rooms, or using forex signals from other sources for a long time.
However, in trading, there are different stages. That we all must know.
Because you have a few pips here and there does not mean you trade well.
Also, real forex education is not very common.... or better still may be stringent in some cases.
If you want to continue using trading rooms forever, then that is the problem.
If you want to learn and be mentored, then FTS (forexteamsupport.com) can provide that.
Besides other services, i am sure our forex mentors would take you through our 4 weeks practice demo trading and 1/3 months mentoring.
I speak as a representative of FTS, so you may want to give us a try.
cheers
