Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

STAY AWAY!!!!
600pips !!!!!!! spike!!!!!!!!!!!!! just last Wednsday (15/8/18) at 07:16 GMT on USDTRY wiped out my hole portfolio.... and it is ONLY THEM!!!! You can check at tradingview.com (or anywhere else you want)... See photo attached! Left are normal prices... Down there, the red line is where the ICmarkets spike reached!!!!! (as you can see on the right as well, in ICmarkets's Ctrader! chart) WAAAAOOOO!!!!! these guys made a lot of money!!!! (and closed many "homes" as well)...
When I emailed them, the replied with an explanation of what is margin and how it works!!!!!!!!!! Not only they are stealing you, not only they are fooling you, not only they have absolutely no mercy, they are making fun of you as well....

Don't want to say anything bad but one should not be trading such a volatile pair as USD TRY unless you got a big excess margin to cover the big swing in a volatile pair such as this. Even with small lot sizes you can loose big.
Secondly keep in mind that IC markets is an STP broker so it is not the brokers fault such a big price movement and big spread. If you think about it the liquidity providers are mainly BIG BANKS and as we know banks don't like to loose money. So what the will do? You guess it they will widen the spread or they will update the price less frequently so you get slippage. This is how the STP works. IC markets is only a broker in the middle and they get all the blame unfortunately. The LPs should get the blame not IC markets. With STP broker you need to learn when you can trade and which pairs to trade in order to make money. And of course to know where to place a SL as BIG banks like IC Markets is using are very aware at what levers retail traders are likely to place their SL and they can easily widen the spread. Once you learn this its will get easier to make consistent profit is you also apply a very careful risk management.

I want to express my greatest shock and annoyance over the way my payment has been delayed and is still being delayed by IC markets. I applied for a withdrawal which happened to be my first withdrawal with IC markets since on the 23rd of November but up till now I have not seen and any money in my bank account.I was made to wait for a good 10 working days together ARN from them and the whole waiting process turned out to be effort in futility as the ARN given to me could not help in the recovery of the money. My bank emailed me that there was no any inflow from IC markets. I have mailed the account department several times about the response I got from my bank but no any response from the account department. Today makes it exactly 31 days since I applied for this withdrawal and the level of hardship and pain IC markets has inflicted on me as a result of this unwarranted delay is indescribable. Let IC markets pay me my money and also compensate me for the damages they have caused me

icmarkets are ignoring my IB commission even after multiple times I submitted my request! How do I file a complain officially with FPA?

Thank you about this, and very well said... What I was saying though, is that ICmarkets was THE ONLY broker with such a big spread among the 30 most well known brokers out there... You want me to start naming? check it your self... if you find one, let us know... and with the opportunity, I would like to verify, that they, (ICmarkets), manipulate their MT4/MT5 platforms, by "freezing" them at their discretion... (like during news...)... Very easy to do ,and put the blame to clients internet connection or hardware...
If you need my advice on decent brokers out there, feel free to mail me...
Cheers!

Hi, I wanted to ask if anyone has this TRUE ECN account at ICMarkets (see picture). I also found out about this TRUE ECN Live account for MT4, and actually the fees of the opened positions should be visible in the Commision column in the MT4. If I now open exactly one LOT would have in the column Commision then 3.5 $ in it (with a dollar account) For me there is always zero. It may be that I have about a standard account. Directly in the customer log in IC Market, however, my account is declared as an ECM account. What's up with you in the column Commission in assuming you also have an ECN account at IC Market. I had the same time a week running a loyal ECN DEMO next to my live account with the same trades the same entrances and exits. In the demo account, the column Commission was not filled with the fees in the live account. Could it be that my live account is declared as ECN account but in truth a standard account? How could I find out?
