Hello fellow traders!

Nice to meet you here! And good luck to all of us. Just wondering what brings you into trading? What made you to think seriously about such a life path. And what motivates you to be stay on the track? That will be really interesting to hear your stories.

I was first introduced to Forex through associates in matched Betting. Began my own research and saw the potential it could offer when applied properly. My introduction to FX was very frank and honest and told from the outset there was no quick, overnight riches to be had, which i think a lot of new traders are sucked in by.

As a parent my motivation to start and keep going is to provide both financial security to my family but also achieve a greater work/ life balance and leave the hourly commute to work behind so i can have the flexibility to be there for my daughter.

Under no illusions about the high failure rate of most retail traders, and i started from scratch on this journey, but I know exactly where I want to get and take small steps everyday to achieving it.

It is very normal for a trader to feel heartbroken when you face a major loss in your trade. However, one of the golden rules in Forex trading is that you must put your emotions at bay. Greed can make you jump into a losing trade, the same way frustration can make you lose concentration. Be patient and exercise self control, learn and master a strategy and all will be well

Very True

Hello nice people,
I just joined the FPA forum, as well. I have been doing some demo trading for almost an year while reading a lot about trading - strategies, mindset, etc. I would like to get to try the real thing - trading with a small amount.
I would really appreciate if experienced traders can share thoughts and recommendations on which broker should I choose for CFDs and Forex?
Thanks a lot!
