The Limeys are voting on Thursday to maybe replace their Prime minister and Labour politics with something else just as unpalatable.

This may have repercussions in the markets so keep an eye open for any tremors in the force. ;)

The results come in thick and fast right through the night and you wake up to a brave new world.

And in a surprising twist of events, the Queen fired the Prime Minister, dissolved Parliament, canceled the election, revoked the Constitution, and took back the reigns of government. When asked why, her response was, "I could do better than those idiots any day."

Anyone wonder how many people will believe this? ;)

Nobody will believe that, I´m afraid. It´s too good to be true.... :D

The movie 'The Madness of King George' was originally released in England under the title of 'The Madness of King George III'. The 'III' was dropped for its American release because it was believed that the American moviegoer would believe it to be a sequel, and not go see it because they had never seen The Madness of King George I and II yet.

LOL....... sorry ;)

So I shouldn't keep asking the clerk at the video store to find me copies of Passenger 1 - 56.
:p

Tell me you've all made some money from this circus...... I mean democratic system.

Pound dollar was nice but Pound Yen...... oh baby! why can't they have elections every week? Sterling now back to it's April 2009 value.

Why isn't the British Pound happy, well because there's no outright winner, which means confusion and no clear mandate. Have a look here to understand what's happened BBC News - What is a hung parliament?

.... conservatives are republicans, and labour are democrates more or less. Liberal democrates are a third party that now have an interesting role in the power share.

The Queen accepted and the Queen met new??

The Queen accepted and the Queen met new... is it done now...
Does it effect the EUR?
How so for others??
