Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

Zaree12,
What I am saying is that if LiteForex is such a good broker now, they should make some efforts to have the FPA remove that “Special Notes: Caution is recommended dealing with this company”at the Forex Brokers Reviews section.
Dear RahmanSL,
As a representative of LiteForex I apologize for the late response. I am happy to say that we got in touch with the Forum Administration and they were so kind to remove that “Special Notes”. Now the problem is fixed. Thank you very much for your posts and best wishes in trading!

Zaree12,
Please don’t take the defensive stance as it portrays a negative image of the company.
I should clarify that zaree12, lanlanlan12, pakistani_m1 and khnow_khnow are not the representatives of LiteForex, with all due respect to them.

Dear zaree12, lanlanlan12, pakistani_m1 and khnow_khnow,
If you are clients of LiteForex I kindly ask you to speak on behalf of yourself not on behalf of the representatives of the company. Thank you for your understanding.

Mr. Shuvalov,

It’s always pleasant to see broker’s official representative replying to queries in FPA forum and giving sensible & professional replies too.

Thank you for clearing up the above confusion with the two “assumed” representatives of LiteForex…and congratulation in getting FPA Administration to remove that negative “Special Notes” at Forex Brokers Reviews on LiteForex.

I have an on-going Demo account no.1000938554 with LiteForex.

I have closed only 1 losing trade (no.42193009 2010.05.24 07.58 for gbpusd which I had accidentally executed Buy order by mistake when trying to trade in a moving car) and I have not, nor do I close any more losing trades as long as I have plenty of Free Margin to “ride out” temporary losing trades.

However, just a few moments agao, I noticed 2 trades have been closed (no. 42382478 & 42382371 both for eurusd Buy orders on 2010.05.26 17.06) at losses of 650.00 and 400.00
As I have said, I don’t close losing trades if i have plenty of Free Margin, and I have more than usd36k Free Margin. Not that I am losing real money, but I am very puzzled why those 2 trades have been closed without my knowledge.

In an e-mail to me from LiteForex Support (regarding my missing Account History, which I got back in my trading cabinet), they did mentioned that there were some problems with the Demo accounts servers.
However, the “mystery of the 2 open trade positions being closed without my knowledge” has got me worried that this can happen in Live account too and, in such a case, it will be very difficult for me to prove that I have not closed these opened positions.

You may find it funny but the very same thing happened to me in 2008 when they had another server failure. Not that I say it was very pleasant to see my own trades being executed at the wrong price but I contacted support and everything was fixed. Perhaps support guys were scared with all those forum complaints but they were very helpful. Maybe not fast but helpful.

So, “opened trade positions by invisible hands” does happen in Live accounts too! Thank you for the info, Andre Johnson.

Contrary to what (I suspect) many in this forum might think, I have been treating each of my 3 Demo accounts as Live accounts and trading accordingly to what I would do with real money.
That’s why I am querying any “abnormality” that arises, or catch my attention, in any of my trades….and keeping notes/journal, of course! (P/S: this is for some one's benefits).. : )

A friend of mine (which also has an account with LiteForex) records his computer monitor with a web camera to have proofs just in case. :) I always joke at him but if seriously, he trades in very big lots and maybe he is right… who knows what may happen.
Anyway I don’t think that the situation with the “invisible hands” here differs greatly from the situation in other forex companies. I’ve been working with a number of them and to my mind LiteForex is a pretty common broker.

Dear RahmanSL,

Thank you for taking your time to write this. Now the situation is the following.

We are planning to upgrade our server’s hardware to increase its performance. Before going live this hardware requires to be tested. To take tests of such kind we use demo server first. If everything is OK with the demo server, we will proceed with the live servers. Unfortunately when you run test something can go wrong. It did, we had a demo server failure. Now we are working on that.

If you treat your demo account as live account we can compensate losses or reopen/cancel the wrong trades if you want to. Undoubtedly we would do it on live accounts. In this case you will need to contact our tech support.

Mr. Shuvalov,

I am glad to see you replying to this post. Yes, as I have mentioned, I am aware of Demo Sever problem at LiteForex.

Anywhere, I am at least 3-4 weeks away in completing (and comparing) Demo testing on Demo accounts (LiteForex and 2 other brokers) before deciding on a Live account…And I am sure I will get such prompt back-ups from LiteForex Representatives, such as yourself, when I do run into some problems in my Live account.
