Good morning,

I want to ask a question, Is it possible for an account with equity of $77 that was hedged on GBPUSD with $5.6 per pips for buy and same amount for sell on monday to close on tuesday as the trades enters new day? Not that the trade hit any take profit.

Please, I need urgent answer to my question.

High regards
Emeka

When you have a trade on with the amount you set for the buy and sell. The longer the trade takes the more likely your equity will be exhausted when the trade is against your position. Also which broker are you trading with

I have position on both direction... $5.6 per pips for buy and $5.6 for sell. The equity was $77 as at 9:30pm GMT yesterday 6th July, 2020.

As the market enters today. My account closed @ 0:00hers of today.

Awaiting your reply.

Hedging doesn't make your trades invulnerable to margin calls. Rollover/Swap charges will eat into your available equity every day (or night - can depend on your time zone and your broker's GMT offset). Spreads often widen during rollover and can widen at other times too.

Call your broker ask ask then to carefully explain exactly what happened.

Can you explain your issue in less confused manner? Generally it is difficult to hedge CFD trade with another CFD trade because such complex trade equals reducing position size of your original trade.
