Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Hi all,

Scammers just want your money.
They DO NOT ( I REPEAT THEY DO NOT ) RESPECT you or see you as a human being, you are just a prawn to them. They are probably laughing after hanging up the phone on you.

Scammers are surfacing everyday with different photos, names , and IDs. One can even have several profiles. They are not only chatting with you only but with several potential victims.
So you do not have to be gentleman or be kind to them back, or even have the slightest thought that they will change.

Is hard to break off or let go, but you just have to bite the bullet and move on.
Do not blame yourself for being foolish, the scammers are very sophisticated these days, and is beyond our imagination what they can do. They prey on your vulnerable heart, your kindness, your loneliness.

Recover and get stronger mentally and emotionally.

I was a victim and was scammed badly 2 months back. The scam occurred over a period of 7 months. I could not tell my family, my friends. I was ashamed. My friends would never believe that i would be scammed.

Lucky i was able to met a support group who encouraged me to move forward and help them to expose the scammers..

The investment site that i opened an account eventually disappeared online.
Before that i could see my account, the amount of money i deposited.
Take note what did my scammer did. In order to gain my trust fully, the scammer also "deposited his money" into my investment account and manipulated the account to reflect both his transferred amount and my amount. Because of his money inside my account, I also let him accessed my investment account, even though he also have one.

The scam would have continued, if i have not request for a withdrawal of cash.
Only when the website disappeared i realised it was all a scam. The websites were fake.
They could manipulated your account information by showing you what they want to show you.
I could not contact the investment customer service agent nor the scammer.

I did what i have to do. Made local and overseas police reports. Feedback to the banks. Follow up closely to my case.

At the same time, i am trying to fish more of these fake websites and mule bank accounts and share on some of these websites to warn people.

Please share any investment websites, bank accounts, contacts details and any information given by the scammers.

However, do not share more details with anyone potentially telling you that they can help you to recover the bulk of the money.

Report to the local police make a case, contact the banks to freeze the accounts if they can do that.
Most banks would want to see a police report for them to act on.

REMEMBER SINCERE PEOPLE FROM THESE DATING WEBSITES, WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO INVEST, TRANSFER MONEY TO ANYWHERE, TELLING YOU THAT THEY ARE IN DIFFICULTY AND NEED TO HELP THEM OUT FINANCIALLY (ESPECIALLY WITHOUT EVEN SEEING EACH OTHER). ANYONE WHO DOES THAT ARE HIGHLY LIKELY TO BE SCAMMERS.

Take care.

You don't need to be surprised. My girl wanted to play with me for weeks after the agent blocked me. I told the girl that I already started to report them. But it doesn't matter until she feels you love her. She show she is still with you and she is also a victim... because they hope can cheat the last money from you...

Very well said. A lot of times some people don't want to come forward because of shame. Looking back we were very gullible and they caught us in their right time. Please report to authorities and be as detail as possible.

I hope you guys can also post the bank info that they told you to send the money to. Don't be afraid, please warn as much people as you can so that they won't end up like us who lost a big chunk of money in this.

GUYS. Last update coming here now. Our conv in screenshots when I dropped I didn't want to be scammed... This is so crazy. How can a scam be this sophisticated. Shall use the talents for good... I know it's impossible but... I've even been stressing I was about to quit my job to see if the scammer would have some heart and back track? I would think she is a victim herself if I wouldn't have had seen other Asian women pics... Plus from tinder and bizz owners WTF! Anyways I'll string this along until see if we have the video call... If I see things get to a corner I will just drop all the scam alerts around this and make the dude experience fear!

Thanks for sharing. You are doing great. This kind of things happen to anyone. You are not alone, there's no point to confront her. The only way you can help is to report them to all the organization and authorities that you know and have them to do the work. The girl that I dealt with spoke to me on the phone and also texted the same way the person is texting you. Once you started to question them they act out. They have a script for this. Everything that you see is fake, even their Instagram pictures. They will not block you yet because it just shows that you are right. They still have hope that you can still trust them so they can milk more money from you. They can string along for a long long time. I just let mine go because I didn't want to waste time. She until the last day, she kept texting me but then I never replied and she's gone and deleted all her accounts and took my money with "her".

My friends at first told me that she's fake and I didn't want to believe them but then it turns out they are right. However, I admitted my mistake and move on. You have to stand up and do the right thing now.

Don't waste more times and report them.

Exactly, the girl finished the spoke to me, only when I sent a screenshot about the Weibo profile of the real lady.

There is no way they are flying over to meet you on their dollar. None. Just try to remain distant and skeptical at this point. Some stranger on the internet especially during this virus scenario is not going on a plane for 12+ hours to meet some other stranger on a whim. Remember Occam's Razor - usually the simplest explanation for a situation is the right one - the outcome which requires the fewest assumptions is more likely to come true. Just ask yourself what you really know about this person and what seems correct, don't be blinded by emotion, especially if you haven't lost any money.

HI! I was texting in private messaging with a fellow thinking this was in the forum. Well I am trying to push for that. The pics she shared with me are all surrounded by Chinese people. I asked about it and she said it is a Chinese gym in London. I need to force her into a corner on that or see if it is real which will move things forward to the situation wether she exposes herself or she actually comes.

Here I rePost one of the messages I intended for the public forum:

"OMG I am now just checking who she follows. Very suspicious. You guys can check it out or intervene. I don't want to do it now since I am now in contact with her and I want to unveil if I can pull some extra information or clearance on the topic. But if anyone is interested: an EXCELLET idea would be to contact to the IG of the people she follows and ask them if they have been offered with the same deal! That kills the house of cards. I am seeing the profiles and mostly them all are Male & related to Business or Trading - Profiling Victims?"
