Hello,
I am new here and apologize if there is a specific thread about this company. I have been dealing with Golden Day Profit (URL = goldenday.hk) for two years and have spoken directly with the US NFA, US CFTC and HK Securities Commission about Golden Day. First this company is not registered with the NFA contrary to the NFA number published on their website. They have an exemption only as a commodity pool trader but they mask this registration on their website and in communication because they actually have an NFA number to publish. To be clear, the NFA number is to state they are exempted only which means they are not registered, regulated or follow any NFA rules.

It has taken me a while to determine what is going on but essentially Golden Day always bets against the advice they give their clients. Said another way, they are trading with a much larger quantity of shorts or longs while they advise clients on what positions to take. Like many of the other discussions on this site, the first few trades will make you money and then you lose big. They instantly request you to invest more funds because the market is hot or they have a special tip which is complete garbage. The will assign you a trader even with a small amount of USD invested but as soon as you lose they ask for you to increase your next deposit value to get a much better trader. None of the traders are licensed or have any expertise other than guaranteeing Golden Day makes a profit while the investors lose.

They are actually operating many other companies in parallel as they try to lure investors to this scam. Some of the other companies/websites are as follows: Fortune Way Limited, Golden 123 Trading Limited, HK Golden Crown Trading, Sengela Trading Limited. Sengela has been black balled by the HK Securities Commission however the website is still up and is identical in content to the Golden Day Profit website.

The company claims withdrawals are easy and investors can use an online form. Please note the online form doesn't do anything as the same crooks asking you to open an account and help you lose your investment are the same crooks that must authorize and process the withdrawal. Guess what, they won't respond to you or do anything to help. In a one month period I have submitted the withdrawal form over 100 times and nothing (over 30 emails sent). The funds are valid and available on MT4 but they will never give your funds backs.

To prove this is all valid, I am attaching the following as this company needs to be taken down. 1) Letter from the NFA regarding Golden Day not being registered 2) Wechat accounts of the individuals I have worked with at Golden Day 3) Bank account details from Golden Day for where deposits are retained. For obvious reasons, I have removed my personal contact information directly from these documents.

A couple things I should mention to help various individuals on here that are having issues with other brokers.

1) First you can find the IP address of the company/website that is asking you to invest with them. To do this, you can use Google (or your favorite browser) and search for "find a website IP address". There are many free websites on the internet and you will input the URL of the company/website in question. The site(s) will return the IP address of where the URL is hosted.

2) Go back to your browser of choice and search for "find IP host" and there are many free sites for this. Input the IP address from number one above. This search will tell you the name, location, address, etc. of the company and server that is hosting the URL for the company/website in question.

3) You can then search for the company online and contact them about getting the website removed from their servers. You will likely have to fill out an online form or call their customer service number. Be patient because you are not a typical requestor for them (new/existing customers for hosting is who they usually deal with). You may have to fill out the form a few times over a couple week period or call them and be persistent. Make sure to concisely explain the website is being used for investment fraud/scams.

Golden Day URL: goldenday.hk
IP = 128.14.74.106
IP Hoster = Zenlayer Inc. with headquarters in California

If you are receiving emails from a company, you can also easily look at the encoder for the email received which shows the IP address of where the email originated. This IP address can also be searched on a free IP lookup site however the information is now always useful. For example, someone answering an email from their cell phone in China may show the IP address/location/owner as China Telecom and their server will show a general server location (i.e. where the server hub is located for a given city). Sometimes these idiots are dumb enough to use their laptop or phone on their home network or a legitimate network for their fake company.

For phone numbers you can use a reverse phone number lookup and there are geo location websites (free on the net) that can somewhat pinpoint the location of the cell phone. The phone is pinging a cell somewhere across the globe and the geocache looks for the last cell tower it pinged against. Keep in mind the cell tower could be 20 kilometers away just like the country you live in.

I would be happy to help anyone with these techniques as I feel your pain and the more knowledge a person has the easier it becomes to track these companies down.

After 100 withdrawal forms submitted on their website, 30+ emails and several weeks passing below below is the response from these clowns. This company only accepts deposits in USD and their one response is to offer to give the money back via an e-wallet for BTC or USDT (USDT = Tether which is another shady cryptocurrency). Anyone know if you can actually convert funds from an e wallet for BTC or USDT back to USD? Everything I have found online states this is not possible but welcome feedback from this community.

I contacted the ISP today for Golden Day, noted above, and explained they are committing fraud from a US based server. Ironically tonight the site was taken offline. For others being scammed I recommend to use the technique above to find the IP of the URL, find the ISP and contact them about removing the webpage from their server. Obviously only do this if you feel there is no chance to get your money refunded or you absolutely cannot withdraw your funds.

This is very interesting. The chances of getting anything back is very minimal, especially when you have contacted them many times and also they see your frustration. Closing this one, they'll operate with something new. The best thing to do is to report them as much as you can.

Thanks for sharing and showing others on how to find their IP in order to report them and take their sites down. Although it's pretty easy to build a new one, the current ones that the victims are in, they'll have a hard time scamming them, because shutting down sites raise suspicions for their victims.

Thanks again bro!

Thanks PK. So these clowns were dumb enough to update their bank account details to list Sengela as their new trading company. After a few searches on the web I found who is hosting their new site including the name and number of the contact from Golden Day. While I never expect to get my remaining funds I continue to track down who these people are.

The company is not in the drop down list to select from. Which company should I select instead?
