Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Hi, how are you? This is the person who wrote you by mistake and started chatting with you, because the same thing happened to me and he tells me that he has a company that manufactures sports equipment for gyms and that he operates in forex through the hyfx broker of which he does not I found no information that is accurate
Please be aware this is a random photo used by the scammers and probably has nothing to do with it. The only similarity to the photos I received was she was very attractive

Hi guys, sorry I am new here (but I am very happy I did my DD and found you all!) - as I seem to have gotten into a similar scam that has been reported in different versions by many of you before - although my connection was not the tinder / dating app girl but someone who "accidentally" connected with me on WhatsApp - and after a few rounds of talks comes the story of FOREX and the "famous uncle' at HSBC and her trading tips - that seem to all pan out - and offer me to trade along on HYFX ... but just the email alone (yahoo?) and only a shop address (and only on the Chinese site) were another red flag. Let alone that the story is too good to be true. Does anybody else have any experience with HYFX? I didn't invest any money yet (thanks God)... Thanks guys!

Has anyone determined whether HYFX is legit yet? I met someone on AsianDating.com and she’s been feeding me her trades about once a week while we’ve been talking about twice daily. I haven’t shown any interest in her forex trading but recently she wanted me to open up a simulation account. I told her already use TD Ameritrade for stocks and can use their platform for forex trading. She wants me to compare platforms but I’m afraid she’ll feed me faked data from HYFX. The leverage requirements are different too.

I told her I couldn’t find any info on HYFX on the internet so she said she’ll send me more info on them. I have a feeling I’ll be ghosted.

It’s a pity. I didn’t think a divorced woman with a child would be involved in this but from reading other posts, it does seem to happen. I get the vacation photos, photos of her and her daughter, etc.
You know what's crazy? I met a woman because she mistakened me for a business partner on WhatsApp, and we've been talking for about a month. Her husband died of covid and she also has a daughter. She wanted me to use Metatrader4, and her broker friend opened up an account for me using HYFX. Now she is waiting for me to deposit funds into that account, I'm not going to do it. It's a shame because this all seemed legitimate

Familiar to anyone? Remember this is a victim too! The real culprit is behind the whatsapp number.

This is who I'm dealing with right now. The story is too similar, it's definitely scammy

There's this woman who's husband has died from covid, she texted me accidentally and after a month of texting she asked me if I needed help with investing. I said yes. She hooked me up with some guy named "Dave" who's a broker for HYFX and even "worked with Warren Buffet himself" according to the email. I was actually gullible enough to get so far as to make a Metatrader4 account using Hyfx limited as my broker, I have not deposited money yet. Does anyone know where this picture of Warren Buffet is from? Who is that guy shaking hands with Buffet?

The person in the photo is Liu Mingda according to a quick google image search https://finance.sina.com.cn/money/fund/video/2020-05-02/doc-iircuyvi1044447.shtml
My opinion is it's a scam don't give them your money.

You can always do reverse image search on google. Also, there are website that teaches you if that pic is photoshop.

Now, do not make any money transfer. I hope you are aware that this is a scam already

This picture is with Liu Mingda who is the Fund Manager of Mingda Series Products. This picture is on several websites inside China!

I have talked with Buffett for more than two hours. Liu Mingda: Inspiring investment as a core part of life

According to previous media reports, Liu Mingda once said: "In 2010, I attended Buffett’s annual shareholder meeting and had the honor to visit the stock god. Buffett owns a company of nearly US$200 billion, and he just rented a floor in an ordinary construction company. I work in a building, insist on driving a broken car and go to a regular steakhouse to eat steak. We have all experienced it. I think the root cause of the company’s longevity is his simplicity. The inspiration for myself from the conversation with the stock god for more than two hours is simple Live, love life, and regard investment as the core part of life."

Liu Mingda believes: "Investment principles should consider whether the company can survive for a long time. That's why we should live a simple life, love life, and make investment a core part of life."

I was also reached out by the women name Cindy. Who was trying to reach her business counter part. But accidentally texted me as her analyst made a mistake while noting the number. Whats app number +852 6172 6344 Also she started describing about forex investment and how much profit she is making. Showing me the screen shoot. As well asking me to install the metatrader4 app and open a demo account. Also mentioned the Millions of $ that she donates and sent pictures of her expensive shopping as well as expensive gifts that she receives. Also shared her pic with daughter named XIXI who apparently is 5 years old. Also the women claims that she is single. She claim to have some company which is into environmental safety fjjxkj.com
Shared this story of Dave some Forex Fund Manager who is her friend and shared the image with Buffet. Also she insisted me to open the broker account with Dave and he will assign the analyst.

Mostly its is a sophisticated scam.

Thanks for sharing the info as it really helped me to confirm that how forex scammers reach.

Hope my post helps and prevents folks from loosing their hard earned money to such buggers!!!!
