Site becoming less and less accessible

Hi all

I'm a linux user, and really enjoy sites that maintain a WC3 multi browser compatibility.

As time goes on the FPA site appears to continue to add nice features bells and whistles, however it also makes it less accessible for people who use linux and mac etc.

Please keep this in mind when adding features.

I can not really access the features on the site at all anymore.

The only section which is functional is the Forums and forums list.

The ratings/reviews and every other part of the site is empty and blank likely because it's not compatible with my firefox browser on linux.

The main page is blank except for some limited graphics, the pull down menus are not there, but when I point my mouse over where I believe they should be a pulldown menu will appear.

The pulldown menu's are not active and do not function.

For most I would guess this is not a problem but I'm sorry to say I have no use for a site that is inaccessible for me. Unfortunately I really enjoy the benifit the site offers but I don't really know what to do about it ?

Should I just use Windows OS, which has a list of other related issues I don't want to deal with. Should I switch to Mac but yet I really enjoy all the other things I can do on linux that I can't do on Mac or Windows.

With some minor exceptions I like using my linux computer for basic computing and browsing.

I wonder why FPA site is not accessible yet all other sites are fine for me, with some minor exceptions at times.

Anyhow just FYI if anyone cares to look into it.

Happy trading.

There are two limits to convenience.
One is accessibility to the advantages,
the other is the education required to notice options.
The ambitions of convenience don't always lead to people being convenienced.

I have it from a reliable source that the FPA's programming team recently managed to bypass the limitations on their beer supply. This could explain some of the issues.

Beer supply LOL

I knew it, lol

I would even prefer just text and accessibility to this.

I can't read the reviews anymore there is nothing there.

Viewers who come to the site with linux or mac likely just see a dead page and come to the conclusions the site is unattended and has not been updated for a long time because there is only partial graphics and no text etc. Sort of like a website template with nothing on it or needs completing.

I only know this is not the case because I have been using the site for a while.

Anyhow this stinks, just my opinion.

So if I want to participate in reviews or the site in full I have to boot up to the windows on my dual boot machine just to write something on the site.

Lucky I still have windows on my machine for only 1 game that I play that requires windows.

Bummed:err:

Hi Agent 86, I am sure that you know muchmore than me but when I first logged on to this site a few weeks ago I thought that the pages were blank however I discovered by going to View and zooming out the pages became visible - they were way over to the right of the screen. This I realise is not a Linx or Mac matter but I thought you might be interested

Hey Thanks

Thanks for the response

Actually I did zoom in and out before and recall there was no effect, but today I tried again for kicks after you reminded me of this topic and functionality did zoom out menu's are there too.

The page was not off to the left or right but when I zoomed in to make the page really small with very small text I can use the site again

Thanks

P.S
the test is very small
I I'll change my resolution to see if it's better
Thank
