Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

Hello everyone.
I am from Israel and I got a job offer from Toyga for Business Development. I wanted to check out more information about the job but after doing some Google searches I've realized Toyga is a company that owns UFX.com and I assume I'd be dealing with this site UFX.com if I'd get the job. Now for me integrity is more important than making money and after reading so many complaints against UFX.com I feel like I am not sure if I should proceed or not.

I have some questions for you, maybe you could help me with my doubts:
  • I see in this site ForexPeaceArmy that UFX.com is listed as a scam, from 2012. Has anything changed since 2012? I see most complaints against this company are from 2016 but there are only a few recent ones. So is this company okay now or still it cannot be trusted?
  • If their site is regulated by CySEC then how come CySEC hasn't done much against all the complaints that people wrote in this forum? Is CySEC just a dummy useless organization? Where is CySEC featuring in all of these scam complaints? What have they done against these complaints? I can see no information on the web in regards to that.
  • I've read about users getting phone calls and they deposited $10,000 and then $20,000 - now god forbid I don't blame you for being in the midst of losing money or in the middle of a trade where you see your money is being wiped out and doing exactly the wrong choice of depositing more - but why is it difficult for me to find a story of someone depositing $500 and then getting lots of phone calls to deposit more and then he tells the ones on the phone to F-OFF and just asking for his/her $500 back? It sounds like the people calling on the phone are very sophisticated but I personally would never deposit money with strangers, even if they would promise mountains, hills and a million dollar as well ... How come so many "fell" into this trap? What am I missing here?
  • Last question - if you were in my shoes would you take the job? I tend to choose no, I still feel like I've read so many horror stories and there are lots of other companies I could work for so I'd send my Resume to other companies now, but I would definitely like to hear your feedback, as of July 2021 what do you guys think of UFX.com?
Other than that I hope all of you who lost money would get it back sooner rather than later. Thank you and best regards.

I beleive you should ask all these questions to the person who offered you this job:p

I gave up on this one as I cannot trust the place, I've spent today hours reading horror stories. It feels sick.

Also to answer my own question after I was reading some more so CySEC is in the process of renouncing their license (I was told by them they have a license from them). It's too fishy for me, I don't wanna take any part in that. You guys "convinced" me with your own horror stories. It feels bad and sick. I truly mean it.

If you really need money and don't bother much about what way it is earned, you can take the job. If the offer is good, of course.

The offer is quite good but I won't take it, I don't want to be part of a system that is designed to take people's money and make them believe they are "investing" whilst actually they just give it away.

I'm glad you managed to find information after all, and props to you that you didn't fall for it - it is good news that their license could get renounced.
It is sick, and it's so typical that companies that are scammy or have a bad reputation try to sell themselves under different companies or different names.

CySEC is the same regulator that allowed Banc de Binary and numerous other scammers to destroy people's financial lives. They have tightened the regulations for new companies, but seem hesitant to get rid of more established scams unless they get pressured by other regulators.

UFX's Kiss of Death became the standard way for many of the worst scam brokers to make sure that clients can never withdraw any significant amount of money. That "perfect trade" to increase your account before "approving" your withdrawal (which should be automatic an an honest broker) always ends in a huge loss requiring more money to be deposited. I don't know if UFX invented this or stole the idea from someone else, but they perfected it and became a model for large numbers of other scam brokers.

If you think they may have reformed, ask yourself "Why didn't they come and pay back the people they previously scammed?"

These types of scams prey on the elderly, but will also take anyone they can find with any history of gullibility. If you really want to test them, ask your mother to open an account, make no mention that you are a potential employee, and ask for trading advice from one of their "sure to win every time" account managers. See how long until she calls you begging for money to save her account so she can win next week's perfect trade. Then ask yourself how many retirees you are willing to help rob of their retirements savings and even homes in order to get paid a tiny fraction of the blood money?

My mom already passed away unfortunately but I totally agree with you. I am no longer a potential employee, I've stopped the recruitment process and I won't proceed any further. Thanks for sharing more details about them.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother, but I'm very glad you won't be working for a company like UFX.

First glance, it doesn't look good - most 'investment' sites promising a return in the Forex industry is usually BS & if there are bad reviews on FPA, then that is also a dodgy sign.
