Gold is the world's largest currency in circulation, and it is also the safe-haven capital for investment. I think the choice of products is the main key to controlling risks. Of course, you need to research and analyze. I am glad that I have very professional analysts.

Hi, hoping for some advice on Risk % on a stop loss position.

I have read much and see advice and recommendations from 1% to 5% generally (with some in my opinion foolish people not using a stop loss at all, but each to their own).

I would be interested to hear from others about what % you risk and your reasoning for that level?
Also, do you always stick to that percentage risk or do you change it based on any ohter factors, like Risk : Reward?
Depends. Personally I only risk 0.5% max on my FTMO account.

And what percent of your account to you risk on each trade?

Usually the percentage is 30-50, you can add my Whatsapp, we can communicate in detail.

Since I hope people will learn from this, I want to keep the discussion of risk public.

Every trading system will have losses. Even a very successful system will sometimes have multiple losses in a row.

So, if you have only 3 losses in a row at your highest risk percentage (50%), a $100,000 account will be reduced to $12,500. Now how much will you need to risk to make that back?

Excess risk can look good for a few days, a few weeks, or (rarely), a few months. The bigger the risks, the sooner the massive loss of capital.

You really should read this before opening any new trades:

How to Manage Risk While Forex Trading

If you learn how to manage risk, your profits will come in more slowly, but you will be far less likely to lose most or even all of the money in your trading account.

Do you mean 3-5%

Based on claims of making big profits in other posts, I think she really meant 30-50%. Otherwise, why didn't she come back and correct me.

I'm willing to bet her attempt to talk to me privately as well as that beauty-filtered avatar and claims of an account manager who makes massive profits really means she's just here to lure men to their fiscal doom.
