Abandoned - Vantage FX 200000 dollars stolen

Don't see that happening given the absolute lack of evidence. Judging by what is provided, the OP margined out his account using a high risk martingale hedge grid trading strategy.

Sure, grandma was running an offshore mt4 hedge fund with the help of some account manager right or maybe there has never been any ongoing trading at all ?

what you can do please check out uk companies house reg. VANTAGE GLOBAL PRIME LLP, see if….” cfd provider only (and disregard whatever you read on their websites

I actually have no idea what you are on about. Posting links to other complaints is not evidence in this particular case.

Feel free to challenge me on the substance of my post but I would prefer you did it in plain English instead of riddle. I stated that what I am looking at is some seriously dodgy trading - 62 000 loss on a single trade. The broker did not do that to the OP - he did it to himself.

The OP(and many others here) also seems to believe that a fully hedged position cannot be margined out which is not true. Hedge trading is very dangerous for a several reasons that I don't really want to go into here unless you are truly interested in a trading lesson.

The OP is also under the mistaken impression that your balance is how much you have in your account irrespective of the equity situation. Let me be clear if you have a $10 000 account with negative trade of -$5000, you have $5 000 - not $10 000.

A such, Vantage did not steal $200 000 from the OP - we can debate the merits of whether the trades should have been closed or not and the brokers liability for spread costs if it was their mistake, but as I said, the OP has presented no evidence.

It is easy to assume someone gave themselves a margin call. I see traders do this to themselves all the time.
It is easy to assume a broker ripped someone off. I see brokers do this to traders all the time.

Reasonable and intelligent people can assume one or the other. Where things move from reasonable to foolish is to take and aggressively defend a firm position on an issue that could easily be a margin call from over trading or an abusive action by a broker without solid evidence to back up the assumption.

Since the fighting continued and no one posted evidence, I've deleted the posts on both sides as well as some innocent comments on those posts as OFF TOPIC.

I have also invited the OP to come back and post a full trading statement. If he does, then we can try to see what really happened. If not, everyone will just have to live with the fact that insufficient evidence can lead to contradictory conclusions.

Hello,

There's some dispute in your thread regarding the trades. Please come back and post a detailed trading statement.
