Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

General discussions of a financial company
I just got this EA after doing a fair bit of research. It's early yet, but this week saw 4 winners out of 4 trades for a great start. I think this will prove to be one of the best.

I have not tried Kangaroo EA .
I make the observation that the SL (about 50-60 pips) is a large multiple of the TP range (15 pips) This is dangerous as it means just one loss wipes the gains from 4 or more wins.
If Ozzie has a reason for this, I for one would like to know. I would not but at this stage even with a very high hit ratio.

So far impressive

I have had this EA for close to a month now and am very happy with the performance. Had some issues getting it to start trading at first. Still not exactly sure why, but it is working fine now.

Anyway, my very first trade was in the AUDUSD just moments before China made a surprise announcement about its interest rates...which cause the AUDUSD to crash. So here I was looking at the first trade....down by about 40pips. Well, long story short, the KangarooEA did its analysis of the market conditions and with the stategic placement of a few more positions, closed all the positions out at a $50 profit for me. EVERY other EA I have ever tried would have crashed and burned.

Since, I have seen it place several different trades on the AUDUSD and the EURUSD. Not every trade has been a winner, but the losers have always been very small. The winning trades far exceed the losers.

Also, I am using the default settings, except for the risk level, which of course has no effect on whether or not the EA wins or loses, or how many or how often it trades. It is just a money management feature.

Finally, I guess my final opinion is best said by the fact that I will be getting another license for it to use on a second and third account.

I Can't Believe It!

This EA is bringing my hopes up!

Today, I traded the new version 5.9 with 6.0 soon to follow. Guess what? All updates are FREE!

They also updated their News Alerter when F.F. changed their code and updated their EA when Metaquotes updates their platform all without me sending them a single support ticket! These folks are on top of servicing their product!!! What a refreshing feeling now a days!!!

My first trade netted a lost of - $24 bucks but my second trade (generated just minutes later) netted me + $110 bucks and 10 minutes later my third trade netted me another + $40 bucks!

What I really like about this EA the way you can pull it out and place it on your charts and that's it! The seller insist you do nothing else to it's pre-configured parameters. Yes, they have already figured out the parameters for you with one exception. Risk. If you desire, you can adjust your Risk and that's it!

KangarooEA only trades AUD/USD 5 TF and EUR/USD 5 TF. The older version traded about 2 or 3 times per week. This new version has three SET files.
1. Aggressive
2. Moderate
3. Scared (LOL! I put that in there)

I enabled Aggressive SET file on my EA and as you can see it made 3 trades in a short period of time...meaning all completed today. Oh! my lot size was .4 (mini account) as you can imagine had I traded a full standard lot I would've made over $1k today. So yes, I'm smiling.

No trades have been placed with E/U and don't blame the EA for passing on this pair either. The E/U has been acting funny lately.

Let's see what the week holds!

Pretty Genuine and Effective

My experience of Dutch and Ozzie is that they are dedicated professionals with a commitment to excellence - and actually know quite a bit about programming. I'm happy and quite confident to be running their Kangaroo EA live, knowing that their support is great and that they are constantly updating the EA (next release due soon being version 6). This is one that I won't be returning for refund.

Never met them but their correspondence and genuine responses indicate to me that they are 180 degree opposite to the scam artistes that we've come to know and detest on a daily basis in Forex.

If you're smart, you'll get on board and enjoy the ride. Not grinding the teeth (and planning the demise of scoundrels who've scammed you) is very calming and conducive to good trading.

Ok.....1st "Happy Customer" to post is Dewey McG on 14/Jan/2011. followed by Antny on 15/feb/2011, and then Free2Day on 1/Mar/2011...maybe it's just me, but somehow I get the feeling that I am reading a singular person (exception of casper9) doing the postings.

Are we to surmised that all these 3 "Happy Customers" are so pleased and successful with their new-found holy grail EA that they don't bother with follow-up post or have nothing further to add??

This thread was started by the FPA Administrator on 17/Nov/2010, but received so few reviews all these time(almost 4 months). This makes me wonder exactly how many people are actually using this EA.

And nobody bothered to answer casper9 query posted 27/Jan/2011.

Hmmmmmm..............

I think this time is not quite the case Rahman. First thing to note, is that they are not one time posters. Second they signed up in different months. The Vendor is running a performance test and it is profitable.

Let's see if any of these happy customers will react. I challenge the happy customers to inform us if their results match the results of the performance test and to submit a statement to prove it.

Reply to Rahman SL

Never met the TulipFX guys or had more than their regular mailings, but did get prompt and comprehensive replies to four queries I made. Their Kangaroo EA trades well and if you're really interested in a genuine article amongst all the scams, you'll go to their website, strike up a conversation, read their whitepapers and marvel at the difference between real enthusiasts with programming skills and scamsters who rebadge and recycle crap..... then skulk away soon afterwards, totally incommunicado. These swine make their loot from the dummies who sign up and don't bother to demand refunds - as well as the first and subsequent month's ongoing charges (for which you get zip). Fraud by any other name, it should be chargeable by police fraud squad (see Cashbot case history below).

TulipFX doesn't indulge in hype and give the impression that they are in this game for the long haul.

Meanwhile I'm in the process of making a Clickbank refund request for Cashbot and its two upsells (Ultimo and a monthly update USD50 service - INCLUDING the first month????). However neither enquires@forexcashbot.com and forexcashbotmem@aweber.com can be bothered answering emails and you cannot now go "live account" on their website via the usual authentication process. This makes the purchases useless (not that they weren't useless on demo anyway). Even the affiliate for Cashbot (Richard C.) cannot get his copy to go live.... I didn't purchase through him but regularly correspond with him as he is also a genuine type. He runs Forex Robot Scams - How to spot bogus Forex Robot claims

So it's a real pleasure to see an outfit like TulipFx with a product that is shortly going from Version 5.9 to Version 6 and is being regularly updated and refined. Believe what you like RahmanSL, but also concede that there are a few honest purveyors of EA's out there. They should be supported and encouraged.

Ok daggerdirk, I assumed from your writing that you are a strong advocate and user of EA/Robot.
First off I cannot see myself using EA/Robot as there seems to be daily none stop trail of complaints of frauds & scams, not only here at the FPA, but all over the other forums.

Tell me, why do Traders use EA/Robot to trade forex?
I want to understand what it is that makes trading with use of EA/Robot so attractive?
Is it really that profitable to use for forex trading?
As an example, how much initial capital is required in order to justify running an EA/Robot?
And from that initial deposit, how much can the EA/Robot be expected to make per week/month/year?

I am not being cynical here with the above questions, but is extremely curious; yah! So, please enlighten me....especially with the last two questions.

Cheers!
