my forex experience using FX Calibre software with Apple Investment Company
instead of a 'guaranteed' 13% monthly return, i had a loss of nearly 12% after almost 4 weeks:unhappy:
instead of a 24mth unconditional guarantee on satisfaction, i recieved a lame excuse on needing to trade for 24mths to recieve guarantee:err:
instead of a 'stop trade' button on the software, you have a button that will not work when required:D
instead of having a moving stop/loss position, your trade will either lose a lot/ or lose a little; or profit a lot or profit a little:p

the following are the trades using this software (Australian Dollars)

Apple Investment Company and FX Calibre

this company persistantly called me. told the caller that i couldn't afford it and to ring back in 6 mths

company called me again (within 2 weeks) transferred me to his supervisor who told me that the special deal was filling fast. when i told Shane Andrews that my money was tied up in shares and that i couldn't afford it, he said what would i say to a guaranteed 13% monthly return

then i said that i know nothing about foreign exchange, could i get a refund if i don't like it. Shane Andrews replied that there was an unconditional 24 month money back guarantee

after losing 12% after almost 4 weeks, asked for a refund and was told by Shane Andrews to forget about it, the refund is not automatic
software had to be used for 24 months to obtain refund
after losing 12% after a month, trading for 24 months would be a nightmare

can you please help me obtain a refund of A$3300 for the software?

any other victims of Apple Investment Company

have you had an 'experience' with Apple Investment Company and their outrageous promises and 'guarantees'?

submit them here and let others know their FX Calibre software is useless

Yes I support you Leo - in April 2010 I was chased with phone calls and fell for the sweet talk and guarantees over 2 years and the past records of only one negative month in last 18 - unfortunately i have gone backwards at 6% per month for 10 months after following all recommended settings and frequent advice to Shane Andrews of my concerns with the frequent losses. Less than one in 10 emails were ever answered . I have had to stop trading for fear the balance may drop too far to be any use. Have offered AI to pay me out all costs and losses but going on 4 weeks with no answer. Will advise more in a few days.

They are a bunch of crooks!
Their website and brochure are full of statements that prove to be false.
eg 'The ultimate wealth creation vehicle' & 'Trades consistantly and profitably' and many others. It is all a scam to get you to create wealth for them through referring brokerage.
In the brochure the example shows around 150 trades per month with 3 pips per trade going to them whether you win or lose. Say $10 per trade and they rake in $1500 per month while you go backwards. In 10 months I had one positive month of 4.5% and the rest were losses of between 0.29% and 20%.
The 24 month guarentee is worthless. Who would trade their account down to 0 to get their money back that the paid for FxCalibre.
I have asked for my money back and for them to cover my losses as when used according to their settings it does nothing but lose. It is not fit for purpose and under consumer laws I am entitled to a refund. I'm not holding my breath.
Anyone interested in a class action?

Yes I am - after 14 polite emails to follow up my original request for refund with every possible delay tactic, it can only be a scam.

Have you registered your complaint with ASIC?

If not please do it today.

ASIC are investigating the complaints against Apple Investment Company.

ASIC have said on their website that they are working with the 20 victims of a company registration scam to get their money back.

If our complaints can be substantiated then they will probably assist us as well.

Apple have been telling investors that the allegations against them as seen on the internet are not real and just a few whingers (complainers) who are sore losers from Forex trading and trying to blame Apple for this.

If we want ASIC to believe our claims then we need a good number of claims that can be substantiated.

This is the link to the ASIC online complaints form through the Moneysmart site.
https://www.edge.asic.gov.au/008/co...nt/t=a6897b74e6ecf14d1ee917cba7d9de38534bf96c

Please pass this on.

Put your complaint in now - this is the online link to their complaints form - it's in the Moneysmart site - I agree you have to hunt for the complaint form:

ASIC are working with victims of another scam to recover their losses. It's on their home page in the news section.

This is the online complaint form for ASIC - you have to go through the new Moneysmart site to the menu tab "Scams" - and then follow all the options to get to it :p

https://www.edge.asic.gov.au/008/co...nt/t=a6897b74e6ecf14d1ee917cba7d9de38534bf96c

When you lodge your complaint please also let ASIC know that you would have done it sooner but couldn't find their form.

I've told them it's not exactly easy to lodge complaint forms with all the various bodies, especially the ACCC - that one is a job for an expert!

I've spent days filling out my complaint forms over the Apple Investment matter and researching and collecting evidence to substantiate my claims.

Each claim adds to the others until ASIC and the others get a picture of what went on.

When there are enough complaints it is investigated. A lot of complaints adds to the urgency.

We need your complaint registered with ASIC now.

And if you want to make an impact I would help myself and others if you could take the time to register your basic complaint against these guys with ACCC, Office of Fair Trading Brisbane and the Financial Ombudsman Service.

This is the only way we can get the matter investigated properly by the whole lot of them in Australia and have any chance of getting our money back without the cost of litigation. (My work solicitor charges $660 for the first visit, payable then and there!)

It's also the only way that we get taken seriously by these departments in order to get scams listed publicly and the Apple Investment Company publicly exposed and shamed for what they have done.

From what I understand this is not their first investment scam and it won't be their last attempt either.

We need your help :)
