Actual, Forecast, Previous, Revision??

Hi and thanks for the help!
Looking at the calendar it shows the Actual as being green or red.
Thought I had it figured but not so sure anymore.
Green doesn't mean that it went up? No wonder I'm going broke lol!

And what is the purpose of the "Revision" number.

Green means it is good for the currency. The issue is that sometimes the currency can be the first in the pair, and sometimes it's the second.

For example. If something happens that is very good for the USD, that will make the EURUSD, GBPUSD, etc. go down and the USDJPY, USDCHF, etc. go up.
