Hi,

Today we are going to have one report that is worthy watching and possibly trading.

1. Friday, April 25th, 2008 (4:30 a.m. New York Time) UK
At 4:30 a.m. we will have UK GDP Advance figure released which is definitely tradable with a 0.1 trigger. It is expected that the QoQ figure will come out at 0.4%. If it comes out at 0.5% or higher, I would buy GBP/USD. On the other hand, if it comes out at 0.3% or lower, I would sell GBP/USD. If the trigger is hit, look for 40-50 pips in the first hour.

At 10.00 a.m. we are going to have U.S. Consumer Sentiment but I am not going to trade this report.

Thank you very much, good luck today and have a nice weekend!

Can you put your current New York time on forcast pages?

Confused! I dont see anything on the Calender at 4.30 am no matter which of the 4 U.S Time frames I set your Calender to??

What exactly am I looking for?

If it is not on the Calendar, where can I view the actual report figure?

And what exactly am I looking for?

A QoQ figure?

What exactly is a QoQ figure?

Really looking forward to understanding this service, but from a laypersons perspective, nowhere near there at the moment.

Got to the Calendar page. Scroll down to Friday, April 25th. There's are 3 UK flags (says "GBP" if you point mouse at one). The 3rd one says GDP q/q. If your Calendar is set to New York Time, it will be at 4:30 am.

There are actually 6 US times to synchronize with.

I was wrong. There are actually 6 US times to synchronize with. The closest was Eastern US/CAN Bogota Lima which said the GDP q/q was taking place at 3.30 am, rather than 4.30 am, which you said and which appears to be correct.

Is there some way of getting a real time clock on your calender so I can know for sure exactly how many hours or minutes till the report is due and set an alarm?

Check your User CP and play with the Daylight Savings Time setting (hidden away under "edit options" in the Control Panel). The signals are set to New York time, which is US Eastern time, but I've had problems on more than one website''s calendar with the Daylight Savings Time pushing the time forward or back one hour.

Just keep playing with the time settings and DST settings until the times in the Daily Trading Signals match the times in the Calendar.

pls can someone help me on the time on the calender? Is it always displayed in Est,Gmt or what ever.thanks a great deal

The calendar is synched up to US Eastern Time to match the New York Market as well as the times given in the Daily Trading Signals.

If you want to reset the calendar, there is a "Time Adjust" control above the rightmost column. Click on it and you can change it to match your local time.
