Starting systems trading

im completely new to this forex trading buisiness so i have opened a couple of demo accounts with brokers and got hold of a couple of systems.
Megadroid and 1 click pips
i install them as per the instruction videos on the sites but then just sit there looking at it not trading.
My question is there something im not doing in order to get these things to start trading ive had 1 click running for over 12 hours now and it hasnt carried out a single trade yet.
im sure its installed correctly as i have a little smiley face in the top right of the chart and everything else looks the same as the setup video it just wont trade.

As you can see on the performance tests here at FPA, the EAs are not trading every day. Megadroid could run without a trade for a week even.
If you made everything right, then just be patient...

also im wondering why none of the platforms i have on my machine will let me open a live account?
whenever i goto options open account i always get the ones for demo never live
are brokers and platforms two different things is there something im missing here ?

Depending on the broker, opening a live account can be complicated from a scale 1, where you are asked to submit a copy of a valid ID and a proof of address to a scale of 10, where you need to fill in all sorts of documents, have them verified by an approved officer, and send the originals by courier post to the broker!
