Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Problem Premier Partners - SCAM or for real?

I am having an issue with a company
Can anyone shed any light on Premier Partners Group. Information seems dubious but has anyone got anything conclusive?

I was contacted by phone last July, and I made some investments with them, but I never received any money back...

I asked them for the FSA, Financial Services Authority, or similar registration, that gives them the right of trading in the NY stocks exchange and was told that they where registered with the Securities Oversight Commission Home | SOC

a few days later I received an email from info@socommission-reports.org supposedly from the so called “Securities Oversight Commission” (SOC) with this text:

"Confirmation of information request
Premier Partners corresponds to your enquiry
Company is actively trading
System Generated Report >>>175DQ<<<"

but I discovered that this commission does not exist!
there are no Google hits if you search for it
they do no appear on Wikipedia or Royal Mail tenants list for the address that they have in their site: One Canada Square, London
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/one_canada_square / Postcode Finder | Royal Mail Ltd

and the socommission.org, supposedly an organization in the UK, is registered in Nobby Beach, Australia with a telephone from Denmark!?!?
Whois Lookup | Domain Availability - Registration Information

I also found another domain for the SOC: it's socommission-reports.org and it is registered in Nassau, Bahamas!!!
Whois Lookup | Domain Availability - Registration Information

both where registered anonymously!

I believe I was fooled, but I'm still trying to find my way out...

cheers,
Belgica

Thanks for that Belgica. You say you got no money back from them. Are you still pursuing this with them? How are they dealing with this? Has anyone else had this or a similar experience?

I do not want to give many details now because I'm still trying to get my money back...

cheers,

If they have an address in the UK, you can start with a complaint to the FSA and FOS.

the UK address if from the Securities Oversight Commission

Premier Partners have addresses in Luxembourg and in Korea

do you think I could complain about the commission in the UK?

cheers,
Belgica

It certainly wouldn't hurt to make some inquiries about this commission. A quick note to the FSA, FOS, and the UK Police asking if they are aware of this SOC's operations in the UK or not could produce some interesting results.

the Luxemburg's CSFF - Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier or Financial Sector Oversight Commision - as issued a warning about Premier Partners.
I attached a copy of it but can also be found here: Warnings

I do not know if it was because of this but now Suspended Domain website is down...

they also told me by email that, and I quote, "according to the information published in the Luxembourg Register of Trade, a company with this name and address does not appear to be incorporated under Luxembourg law."

cheers,
Belgica

One website down. Go ahead and ask that "SOC" place if they know where Premier Partners went. ;)

I am almost ready to come on board. The website is back up and running but with problems and you will love the reasons given. I am just waiting to see if they can be verified as doing "the right thing" or if they expose and in which case, a laughable (er, if it didn't involve lost money that is!) story can be told. Am on the verge of them gaining some credibility and perhaps adding a little credence to what appears to be a complete lack of defence by Premier-Partners lack of defence (why?) or adding further weight to the SCAM that so far appears to be the case.

Will keep you posted as soon as....
