Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

Hello,

I have been trading in Forex since 2008/09 and so far happy with my performance. I have used couple of brokers in recent years such as Fxpro, Etoro, FXCM, Hotforex and Forexyard and now currently trading with 2 brokers. Now I am looking for a broker who could offer me good bonus (above 20%) and must be reliable. I tried to search in this forum but couldn't find relevant thread so thought to open a new thread.

Hope you guyz can help me out :( and I love this site and hopefully will always remain part of this beautiful community

The deposit I am planning to make is above 50,000USD so only reliable company with hassle-free withdrawal process is welcomed

Thanks

Before falling in love with the idea of a bonus, realize that bonuses always come with strings attached. Usually, you have to trade a minimum number of lots, and the spread on those lots will add up to a lot more than the bonus came to. Typically, you won't be able to make any withdrawals until you've made all those trades.

Thanks for your reply Pharaoh

Like i said before, I am an experienced trader and not starting all this from scratch. I have been in to this business since last 4 years or so and this is the only source of my income. I am very well aware that all the bonuses comes with the strings attached and I have researched about most of the popular forex companies in past. I hardly go for bonuses but the problem I am having right now is... Fxpro used to be my favourite broker since 2009 despite the fact they never offered me any bonus in life and I always found their spreads very satisfying but recently I noticed the significant change in their spreads and decided to go for a different broker. In past I did receive bonus from Hotforex and despite the fact I have no intentions to withdraw full amount from them, I have a hope that one day that bonus will belong to me and I am not worried about the number of lots I would require before I could withdraw that particular amount.

Only thing is, I want to transfer my existing balance of about £10,000 from Fxpro account to a different broker and if I receive a bonus on top... that would be cherry on the cake as I usually withdraw only the profitable amount I earn on top of that. I did try to research about latest offers from internet but couldn't find any lucrative offer so far so I thought why not create a post in this forum and see if some members can advise me better. Don't want to put all eggs in one basket so don't want to invest in Etoro or Hotforex... hope my post is making sense

You are an EXPERIENCED TRADER and have been trading FOUR long YEARS and you STILL DO NOT KNOW how to search for a broker of your choice??????? And at least two of the brokers you have or are using don't smell too good either!

Jezzzz....I am only slightly TWO years old in forex, but I know which brokers to avoid.

Like the Son-of-Ra'a said, high bonuses are usually given out by those shady brokers wanting to attract clients (like sweet looking nectar on a Venus fly trap), and they usually have all sorts of fine print on their T&C to cover those attractive bonuses (which no one reads anywhere) but which they (the brokers) will quickly point out to you when you want to make a withdrawal.

I don't think anybody would willingly recommend any broker since brokers can be good today but a scammer tomorrow....and those who do recommend you a broker usually have vested interest (like for example, he/she might be that broker's representative or an IB).

Just do your own researches in "Brokers reviews" section right here at the FPA (top left hand of this page under ""Reviews & Ratings", chose "Hot! Forex Brokers Reviews" and select the brokers with plenty of reviews (at least 20 of them) and also with reasonably good ratings (4-5 stars) and take your pick. Or alternatively, join in the discussion forum of these brokers and ask lots of questions before selecting it as your "trusted" broker.

And, most important of all, good luck with your selection!:p

Thanks for replying Rahman,

well i know how to find brokers but I have not found any good offers these days. Just those non-promotional days may be... so i thought may be some members might be aware of new offers these days.

Well the first broker i ever used was Etoro who gave me like 30% bonus back in 2009 and its been 4 years I am with them despite the fact they have high spreads but that was never my main account since I trade there to grab more pips and not quick money. Next broker I chose was FXPRO with whom I was always satisfied and had my main account for years... Last year I withdrew some money from my fxpro account and deposited in Hotforex and realized they have much better spreads so I decided to switch to better brokers thereafter. Since then I am trying to find a reliable broker and don't want to invest all money in one broker like you said, one good broker could be a scammer of tomorrow. So now trying to find any broker who like Etoro or Hotforex could offer some bonus offer and I have no plans to withdraw all money so one day, may be after 2 years that particular bonus would also belong to me. Its just if i do get any bonus.... I will definitely follow your tips and browse this forum bit more to read reviews by the existing members and see if I could form an opinion based upon that

Zakli ok, if you must have brokers offering bonuses, go to "100Forex Brokers" site...scroll down and look on the left hand side for "Forex Bonuses 2012" and you will find a whole bunch of brokers offering all sorts of bonuses there.

Well, it's your money....so good luck!

Thanks for the link Rehman but none of those brokers sounds reliable to me so I am now thinking to reinvest in reliable company such as Dukascopy or Fxpro so that I guarantee my money to be safe at least

Spreading the money out across 2 or 3 brokers would be a good idea. That way if one goes bad, you won't be wiped out.

If you take your income directly from your trading, be aware that some of those bonuses block ALL withdrawals until the minimum number of trades to collect the bonus has been satisfied. Typically, the larger the bonus, the tighter the restrictions.

Overall, I think trying to find a good broker with a narrow spread would serve you better in the long run. If they happen to offer modest bonuses with reasonable terms, consider that to be icing on the cake.

Dukascopy would be a good choice broker, but they don't offer MT4 trading platform.
If you are a high volume trader, try to join under a rebate program/IB to get back some rebates money every month. I used the Asian Group as my IB for some brokers and they have been very reliable and consistent in paying out rebates on or before the 10th of each month. There are, matter of course, other rebates IB out there too.

As for Fxpro, do check out reviews on them and our FPA has a warning on them:
WARNING: The FPA has received information claiming that FxPro is interfering with EAs from "21:00 server time, and at least until 02:00 AM server time". This may require traders to manually close positions.
If you trade with EAs, the FPA recommends extreme caution dealing with this broker until this issue can be clarified.

So, caution is required if you want to go with them.

As the Ruler-of-Upper & Lower Nile states, do "be aware that some of those bonuses block ALL withdrawals until the minimum number of trades to collect the bonus has been satisfied."
