I haven't had any confiscation issues myself, but have seen it happen to far too many people.

Personally, I think that most brokers need a major rewrite of their TOS. Too many of those agreements are a license to steal.

AVA FX cancelled all my profits because they applied dividend adjustments on my short positions taken on CFD Equities.
They introduced this kind of adjustment on 17th November 2011, but they applied it retroactively on positions already closed.
Until 17th November the Ava Trader Platform was not setup properly to apply dividend adjustments (credit the dividend on long positions/debit the dividend on short positions) because they were not considered.
I'm sure that dividends on long positions were not credited on your account before 17th November 2011! please check and let me know.
