The website appears to be active still. Has anyone asked to contacted via the site as a new client with a different phone number and tried to suss out a bank account or something that we could ask the banks to investigate?

They've stopped answering my calls now as well as I am due my complete refund in a few days. I also contacted MyChargeBack who couldn't help for the same reason. I am down for a class action lawsuit if it's not too expensive but have no experience or contacts that could help unfortunately...

I'm pretty sure they're not registered with the VFSC. I've tried to contact the VFSC twice with no response. What's more, if you're referring to the FX World entry, they've removed that association from their website (unless you can link me to it?) and replaced it with some reference to IDEA...
