Yes, all of this poking and testing using the slower missiles is really just to say they have reacted to the assault on the Consulate...if Israel had any sense at all (which I doubt very much) they would call this quits for now. America and Europe cannot afford to engage in another large...

Also the South China Sea where China is being more active once again on protecting the Islands it has recently claimed around the Spratly Islands. The Philippines are militarily contesting Chinas claim...the USA will probably get involved. It's all good for Gold!

Yes Sive, I think Gold is trying to get past the H1 resistance trend line but needs something to give it the nudge. Many thanks for your consistent enlightening analysis, perhaps the FOMC Statement will help us out?

The USDX daily has also come to a point of interest @ 104.5 which stands around previous highs and lows. Maybe a small move up on gold?

Todays spike was probably a reaction to the resumption of bombing in the middle east... it seems to have settled down again now.

My D1 (daily) chart shows a gap on the week end of 10 March - six months ago - which as not yet been closed. Perhaps this current move will indeed close this gap @ 1870.11.

The vast majority of the 'Option' brokers are scams, and there is a big movement headed by the German (European) authorities to arrest and prosecute these scammers all over Europe. The USA also has ongoing investigations and prosecutions. Although this new movement in it's self won't return...

Gold is historically a store of value, an ounce is an ounce. However in 1900 an ounce of Gold was still an ounce and is still an ounce today - 1 US$ in 1900 was worth 1 US$ but that same dollar today is only worth 5c or less. I think I would rather have the 1US$ worth of gold.
