Unfolding the mystery behind Instaforex real owners and activities

So, Alpari, one of the supposed competitors of Instaforex turns out to be very very much connected with Instaforex.

So much for the traders who believe they have made their research, by comparing pseudo-independent brokers through pseudo-independent comparative reviews such as this one :

Looks like the game of smoke and mirrors of Instaforex does reach a whole new level.

And, guess what, IQ Options, the famous, and equally infamous binary options brokerage firm, also participant of ShowFX World ?

Well, here is information about their registration :

And guess who is also located at the same address ?

Meet the Director : Ms Irina Nedachina (remember, Insta Holding Ltd, owner of the instaforex.com website since
2014 ?)

And yes, Irina Nedachina is the shareholder too....

Of course, there are many more companies other than IQ Options which are associated to Instaforex at this exact same address, but more on this later.

To make a long story short, all participants in ShowFXWorld can be traced directly to Instaforex - Mayzus companies, sometimes, like in the case of Dukascopy, giving some interesting insights on the whole scheme.

And of course, Liteforex, the Mayzus-related forex broker, is also connected, as Instaforex is partly controlled by Mayzus.
By the way, where is Liteforex registered ? In Marshall Islands.
Guess which address ?
Yes, the same one.

And, looks like this thing went down. Is it because of our posts ?

Anyway, Mayzus Financial Services Limited had already lost its UK license in 2018, as it looks like the British authorities were not too impressed in Sergey Mayzus "collaboration".

So, what does this tell us ?

That Instaforex - Mayzus has, since quite a long time, taken control of the bulk of Russian forex, and that the multiple brands have been kept only to make believe that there is some kind of competition on the market.

Does that mean that Mayzus, Sharipov and the rest of the Instaforex gang run the show ?

Well, yes...and no.

There is a much bigger story to tell than the one of a "simple" huge Forex scam.

Our investigation started as an in-depth look into the activities of a notorious scam forex broker, Instaforex, and we thought initially that, though we would face a maze of offshore companies designed in order to fend off regulators scrutiny, as well as civil and criminal prosecution, the activities of these companies would be limited to running a bucket shop.

Not only have we found out that, beyond supporting the illegal activities of Instaforex, the very same network was also supporting the illegal activities of most of the other, and equally rogue, Russian forex brokers, but we also found out the fact that this network is deeply interconnected with others and involved in a wide range of equally illegal activities, which makes it a real cartel which has developed its infrastructure (shady incorporators, accountants and law firms, IT services and call center facilities, payment services providers, exchangers and banks) to a level which not only supports their own business, but also caters to the needs of third party criminal organizations.

And, as in former Soviet countries, organized crime, politics and corrupt officials and ex-Intelligence Services agents running their own business are usually mixed, this network sometimes extends its services to a wide range of much more murkier activities, from child porn (as seen with Quasi Networks) to weapons smuggling, for an example by harbouring in its Marshall Islands drop box the company AQUA SHIPPING LTD, signalled by OFAC as involved in sending weapons to Syria :

From 2007 onwards, this Instaforex-Mayzus related network has firmly established itself in Europe, in North America (United States and Canada), in the Middle-East (Dubai), South-East Asia (Singapore, India), and in New-Zealand and Australia.

They count on the opacity provided by a network of thousands and thousands of different companies, and on their proximity with corrupt local officials in order to support their business activities, which explains their utter disregard for the sanctions and warnings of regulators.

Let's take for an example Estonia, where the Argos Kracht / Lisett Luts network has effectively cornered the cryptocurrencies market, as we will see in detail later on.
Despite the fact that multiple companies tied with Instaforex / Megatransfer have been involved in notorious international fraud (MLNMTECH, NOSTRO / EURO WEALTH), and have been subject to warning of the local Financial regulator, neither the police forces nor the tax office have been intervening into the activities of these companies, in spite of their obvious involvement in large scale fraud and the fact that their tax filings are either not up to date or completely fake (50 EUR tax in 2018 for NOSTRO / EURO WEALTH for an example).

Maybe it is because Lisett Luts is actually just a front for her boss, Pavel Kotkin, a former Estonian Intelligence Services officer who has been fired in a scandal which rocked Estonia some years ago, receiving a sentence which amounts to a slap on the wrist (more on the Luts-Kotkin connection later on).

As we will see, the illegal activity of this network is not exactly the one of a small-time bucket shop.

For an example, the Instaforex connected ShowFXWorld exhibitor Monex Deposit Company, operated in the US by the Carabini family, is currently being prosecuted by CFTC for a precious metals fraud of 290 million USD (see attached file).

So now is going to be the time to enter in depth into the full extent of this network, and to provide names, financial transactions, and proof of involvement of various actors beyond our usual suspects Sergey Mayzus, Ildar Sharipov, Ekaterina Pobedinskaya, Alexei Skachilov, Vladimir Sirov, Irina Nedachina etc...

I wouldn’t be so sure of that, friend. If companies are registered in one offshore, this does not mean that they are connected.
Do you know that almost all brokers that provide favorable trading conditions are registered in the offshore?
Are you just offended by them?
