Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

I understand what your saying, I've had my concerns as well, particularly with the trading strategy which runs contrary to anything I do manualy, but I kept this EA, and I continue to run it on my live account.

My results have been much better than the FPA demo. Running just a few micro lots it paid for itself quickly, and then even with the subsequent losses it stayed profitable. The difference is, I never ran all the recomended settings and pairs, I only ran the pairs I thought had the best chance of working, and I ran the default setting with some optimization.

I agree with what Ken is stating. I've had Hippo now for almost 5 months and have been testing it exclusively on a demo account. In playing with the settings etc. in the first two months it became apparent that this EA just doesn't trade the jpy pairs well at all.

When the 1.3 was released I decided to keep testing without the jpy pairs and Hippo has responded with excellent results since Jan. 10th. I wouldn't test an EA between approx. Dec. 10th and Jan. 10th because no matter the EA you probably won't get good results.

If Hippo continues to respond well over the next 4-5 weeks or so, I may go live with it; sans the yen pairs. Someone else may have a different opinion but that's what I have observed thus far.
