Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Latest on 10kto1MM

Our GBP/JPY trade now has a S/L of 130.50 (240pips) and hit 133.08 overnight - 500 pips profit. TP is 135. Clearly, not ready to take profits yet, letting the winners run.

Teodor, your observation "If you did 15% in 10 week, you'd need another 20 weeks to complete. 30 weeks for the whole phase. More than half a year" is a rather simplistic evaluation of the time required to complete Phase 1. Overnight, my account was more than 30% up, also we may have a trade/s that hits the required 46% target within a week!

You mentioned Megadroid, I took the liberty of investigating it and found from user reports that the robot goes for very small wins (10 pips) with stop losses at around 40 pips (correct me if I am wrong). Admittedly, the win rate is high, however losses can eat up your profits very quickly. According to the vendor's web page, Megadroid could have returned something like 3000% over 9 years - that's multiplying your initial investment 30 times. I am not knocking Megadroid, it suits the trading style and stress tolerance levels of many traders out there who love it. 10Kto1MM however aims to multiply your investment 100 times in 12 stages (could take 2 years) and I would say it is very different to Megadroid being a lot more aggressive. Stress levels are greater. But what stands out is that 10K's wins outstrip its losses by a huge margin - just the opposite to Megadroid. Also 10K has a human being behind it controlling all entries and exits and with the latest development of using the SignalCopy EA, it has the added advantge of mimicking a robot as well. The best of both worlds.

I am a great fan of 10Kto1MM and clearly there are others who tried it and have lost patience because it did not deliver results to their expectations. As for me, I always knew that if a system had a "positive expectation", then
you must allow this "positive expectation" to manifest by allowing a number of events to take place - meaning you can't judge how good a system is by observing a handful of trades. True, this was extremely difficult for some during the early stages. However, we are in full swing now and there is no turning back.

I will continue to post and update progress periodically.

It's now nearing 3 months since this USD10k to USD1million program got started.

Can any participants tell us how much money has the initial USD10k increased to over these few months?
Can any investors post a screenshot of their trading history for us to review?

Thanks!

Sure let it go as long as pips come.
However I would look for much bigger profits elsewhere.

Never mind the Megadroid, it was just an example.
Well, it's true my calculation is simplified as input data set is limited.
Liu doesn't present his results to public.

Anyway, I wish you good luck.
Good to hear you're in green.

I covered all Liu's loses back in September.
And tripled my account since then :)
Yes, I overleveraged a little. I'm greedy in good quality trends.
But very conservative in sideways.

10Kto1MM balance as at Nov 12 2010

This is Henry's balance as at the close on Friday the 12th of November - $12424.71 (24.24% gain)

Fm calp: "This is Henry's balance as at the close on Friday the 12th of November - $12424.71 (24.24% gain)"

24.24% in 3 months??? So, how to achieve usd1mm from initial usd10k account within the next 9 months???
If old Henry there had signaled to place "Sell" trade on Silver & Gold when they were at the extreme high level in 8-9 Nov 2010, everybody would have made a lot of money.

From most reviews around the web, the USD is weakening and this should be the signal for Gold, Silver & Oil to trend upwards. Just a thought!

I would dearly love to see a screenshot of any "usd10k to usd1mm" participants' Trade History.

Were you part of the 10k group at any time? If you were you'd know that it is a compounding strategy. There was no expectation of a 12 month turn around for this - it was a 12 phase program.

I would dearly love to see a screenshot of any "usd10k to usd1mm" participants' Trade History.

I would be happy to do this , but what would this achieve? -

Was I ever part of the 10k group program at any time??
If you read from the beginning of this thread, very obviously I have not since places were filled by the time I read and response to my e-mail from old Henry there.

Right from the beginning, I am curious as hell as to how participants are faring and what I have missed out on, but seems like there are not many “happy campers” so far.

Usd2,424.71 profits for a usd10k account over 59 (starting 24-Aug-’10 according to knightal’s post) days of trading?? That’s an average of usd41.10 gain per trade day which, very frankly, you can very easily scalp that little money in mere seconds…especially so with a usd10k account! That’s the real reason why I am deeply interested to see some trade history from participants to review why the account is growing so slowly. It’s certainly good and prudent to be cautious in trading forex, but…..!

But ok, if that’s what you guys/gals are happy with, good for you!

Cheers & good luck!

OK, I get yout point, I will post a copy of my statement in due course.

24/08/10 14:22 GMT+2 [8:47] Henry Liu: [10K] B GY 127.10, SL 126.10, TP 134.50 [10K]
29/08/10 23:47 GMT+2 [18:13] Henry Liu: Change GY Order: BUY GY 130.75, SL 129.75, TP 136.00
30/08/10 00:05 GMT+2 [10K] [18:29] Henry Liu: SELL AUDUSD 0.9205, SL 0.9305, TP 0.8850 [10K]
30/08/10 18:01 GMT+2 [12:23] Henry Liu: BUY GBP/JPY as close to 130.75 as possible, SL 129.75,
TP 136

I don't want to miss this trade so try to get in as close to 130.75 as
possible. I apologize for sending this last message quick but it seems we
may not get down to the 130.75 level today. I've entered on my own account
at 130.96.

SL is still at 129.75 unchanged, it is a bit more risk but I think it is
crucial to give ample room at around the psychological 130.00 level.

TP is ultimately at 136.00, but I will issue early take profit signal when
we move our SL to break even.

Thanks,
31/08/10 07:56 GMT+2 [2:19] Henry Liu: GY Trade Hit SL
31/08/10 08:37 GMT+2 [3:04] Henry Liu: CXL AUDUSD Trade
31/08/10 16:57 GMT+2 [11:21] Henry Liu: [10k] BUY GBP/JPY 129.00, SL 128.50, TP 136.00 [10K]

I'm going to risk 50 pips on this trade. I believe market has pushed to
its limit and USDJPY has not shown momentum to break below the 84.00.

I know the market has been in a very risk averse condition, but I believe
using the market cycle we should see this trade turning around soon.

07/09/10 14:03 GMT+2 [8:01] Henry Liu: Original GY trade stopped out, Re-enter GY LONG 128.50,
SL 127.90, TP 136

07/09/10 17:37 GMT+2 [11:33] Henry Liu: GY trade still on, if you got stopped out, you can
reenter or stay out. up you...

It seems like some broker because of spread have pushed market below the
127.90... However the most I've seen on my platform is around 127.9020.

You can reenter at the low or you can stay out. Someone confirmed with me
that Oanda is showing 127.91 as the low.

Next time if you are around please login to the traderoom, I was managing
this trade live.

Thanks,

Henry's signal history (in reverse), copy his from web page.
Basically the same (some missing actually) but reasoning explained a bit:

09-07-2010 8:04 am - Henry Liu: Original GY trade stopped out, Re-enter GY LONG 128.50, SL 127.90, TP 136
08-31-2010 11:23 am - Henry Liu: (10K) BUY GBP/JPY 129.00, SL 128.50, TP 136.00 (10K)
08-31-2010 3:07 am - Henry Liu: CXL AUDUSD Trade
08-31-2010 2:22 am - Henry Liu: GY Trade Hit SL
08-30-2010 12:28 pm - Henry Liu: Enter GY Trade (BUY) as close to 130.75 as possible. SL 129.75, TP 136.00 - I don't want to miss this trade. I have entered on my own account at 130.96. Please enter market as close to our original entry as possible. I'll be issuing take profit and move SL to BE soon. I apologize for the quick update on this signal, but I don't think we'll see GBPJPY at 130.75 today, so as it is lingering around the 130.83~131.00, please enter your trade... I expect market to remain in this level for the next 4 hours, so I believe there should be enough time for everyone to enter.
08-29-2010 6:29 pm - Henry Liu: SELL AUDUSD 0.9205, SL 0.9305, TP 0.8850 - I believe AUDUSD may benefit from risk appetite sentiment for a very short term but it will eventually fall back below to the 0.88 or less in the medium to long term. If we get a chance to pickup AU at 0.9205, it is not only a high probability based on technical and long-term fundamental, but it is also a common sense trade as there are no more expectation for RBA rate hikes... The only concern that I have is maybe AU won't reach this level.
08-29-2010 6:13 pm - Henry Liu: Change GY Order: BUY GY 130.75, SL 129.75, TP 136.00 - I believe JPY strength will be limited this week and the general fundamental/technical trend should be geared towards more risk appetite than risk aversion... Probability for BOJ intervention has risen due to several unscheduled Emergency Meetings by BOJ. Overall market condition has consolidated and it is likely to see a weaker JPY unless there are more fundamental factor to support further strength... but as of now there are nothing scheduled on the economic docket.
08-24-2010 8:27AM - Henry Liu: [10k] USDJPY SL Hit - Trade Closed [10K] - JPY strengthened against USD and made 15 year new lows on USDJPY and 9 year news lows on EURJPY. This move was highly unlikely. We will look for more opportunities later.
08-24-2010 4:22AM - Henry Liu: [10k] CXL EURCHF TRADE [10K]
08-23-2010 9:28PM - Henry Liu: [10k] USDJPY Trade Triggered [10K] - Market dipped below 85 and our order was picked up.
08-23-2010 5:40PM - Henry Liu: [10k] B USDJPY 85.00, SL 84.00, TP 87.00 [10K] - I believe we'll see some weakening in the USDJPY today as the overall strength in the JPY has put a strain in the Japanese economy. With market sitting at the 85.00 level for the pair, there is a strong chance for a bounce.
08-22-2010 5:52PM - Henry Liu: [10K] B EURCHF 1.3105, SL 1.3005, TP 1.3305 [10K] - Trade Cancelled
---

Please take a close look at the last call I recorded:
07/09/10 14:03 GMT+2 [8:01] Henry Liu: Original GY trade stopped out, Re-enter GY LONG 128.50,
SL 127.90, TP 136

And what happened later.
This is where Mr X. started to play SL tricks. Almost all stopped out but he's still in play saved by 0.2 pip...
Stopped out? Blame your broker! 4 digit broker? Go and get ECN broker...
Soon he instructed folks to remove the SL.
But... only these who were lucky to get to his test drive trading room (limited seats). There was no signal sent... And these who were not that lucky or happened to sleep/work/whatever were stopped out. Again.
BTW: one of rules was to take a weak break after three loses...

Look, I don't mind to take three or five loses in a row. If this is something I cannot avoid. Sh*t happens all the times. This is when MM comes to save me.
But the way Henry did it it was like asking for lashing.
