This was a close race in a crowded field. Each one was very deserving of this award. A lot of them are facing some very special awards in court.

In third place, for trying to hide the fact that CrownForex was going under in the FPA's forums, for misleading investors, for not even putting much of the money into trading accounts, and for not revealing that they owned part of CrownForex, is UniversalBrokerageFx.

In second place, another Ponzi that promised 10% per month, CreCapCorp Please read the original complaint thread for this one to see how people were lured in.

In first place is one of the biggest and ugliest Ponzi's yet to crawl out of the pits of scam. Even after it was shut down by regulators, people kept wanting to believe and went and threw away money at other websites claiming to the the true version of this investment. The original thread on this company is a must read for anyone wanting to learn how to avoid getting scammed this way.

The 2009 Managed Forex Scam of the Year Award goes to...

If an investment opportunity sounds too good to be true, it's probably a scam. Take some time to investigate it before putting in any money. If you really want to get involved with managed forex, read this article about Ponzi's and this article about managed forex in general.
