I find this strategy quite good. Discipline is very important on Forex, as well as sticking to good developed strategy. It is good approach for new traders to test themselves how disciplined they are and how well they are controlling their trading emotions and mindset

I like the idea, why not? It will help you to understand whether the strategy is the right one for you and then you will also have a proper history track to make analysis and make some corrections. It may seem tough, because it is not that fun to stick to the same, but it is worth it.
