Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

a weird thing

5-star reviews or not, you should always stick to regulated brokers. If anything goes wrong, you'll have something to fall back on. Reviews are not always automatically genuine since some can be bought while a new user who doesn't understand much can be dissatisfied and leave a bad review.

This is normal practice now, it is generally difficult to understand something today with documents and licenses, but there are lists of confirmed traders, who can be more or less trusted. But this is not a guarantee either, unfortunately...

I was going through the list of forex broker reviews and looked at 4-5 star brokers with many reviews (above 100).
Most of them are not regulated in a "normal" authority.
That is very strange to me.
Just because a broker isn't regulated, it doesn't mean that they are good. There are a few dodgy brokers out there that are regulated and it shocks me that they are getting away with some stuff.
