Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Any good brokers out there?

Hello all, I am a complete newbie to trading and am currently looking for a good broker.
I currently have a live account with CMC Markets which I opened last week, but to be honest I am not to happy with them.
I have been browsing your brokers review pages and every broker I have looked at, has had pretty dismal reviews from the members here. There are some good reviews but an awful lot of bad reviews for most brokers.

Who do I trust with my hard earned cash ?

Please direct me in the right direction.

Both Saxo Bank (Singapore) and Dukascopy SA are excellent since I've tried both of them.

Regards.

Thank You very much Nancy, I will certainly have a look at the brokers you have mentioned.
Anyone else got any reccomendations for a broker ??

IMHO-never trust(fully)any person or company not directly in your own family. This concept has kept me from depositing more than 1000.00 bucks in any Forex trading account. This has also doomed me to trading 0.1 lot only per trade on only one trade. If I win-I remove realized Profit. If I loose(just the trade not my account) that means I will wait longer to make a withdrawal. I prefer to extract profit ASAP in case the Broker decides its today they want to change to a "depositOnly" Broker. I conquered the fear of trading on emotion but have not (maybe never will) get over the fear of placing a large deposit with total strangers. NO PERFECT BROKER EXISTS. I use MBT(I like very much for large lot trades of which I have made NONE since 2008 Sept.) and FXPro.com for everday trading of "miniLots". So far,(and I have had 6 Brokers total in 4 years) these 2 Brokers have not screwed with me or my account. I still dont "fully" trust them though. Remember this is only MY opinion and colored by my whole Forex experience. Good luck though.:)

My recommendation is sole and purely based on my few calendar months of trading with them and nothing more.

Regards.

I think for you to check out your broker is to check them out on NFA, not only that you will know if they are regulated, but also you will know about their reviews. :p

The NFA is only for USA based brokers. They don't have reviews there, but do have "NFA Actions" which can be very interesting.
