yes I agree when you are making profit you do not care about anything but when you start losing you are not able to control your emotions.Problem is when you are losing and you are losing more and more thats when your emotions are not in control.

Not a good trait to have really. Best just setting alerts/limits and letting the market do the work.I have met a few traders who appeared to be addicted to trading and even though they were not professional traders they tended to make their daily decisions based on their trading and often cancelled or rescheduled planed events during the week due to trading.
I think they did that because they were not profitable and believed that they need to be glued to their screens in order to finally turn around and generate profits on a few trades. They seemed addicted to it which influenced their lives in a negative way. You always read about the positives in trading, but very few mention the negative impacts a lot of people suffer (besides losing your capital).

Addiction to some extent is good, it keeps you motivated to work on it until you reach the desired result.Addiction can involve something business not only forex business alone, some people may be addicted to playing the game, casino, fishing, etc, addicted playing the game make them every day always playing the game and sometimes forget time to sleep, addiction sometimes giving negative impact but sometimes give positive impact, depending how to manage a business that we addicted with
