I have tried to solve my complaint in a good manner with them, but they continue to show me rudeness, put all the blame on me and delay further actions from my end. They (Evelina S and Tracey L) have even threatened me with legal actions if i go with my complaint public.

I cannot believe I would have recommended Banc de Binary before. They are regulated and they have a partnership with Liverpool F.C., they must be serious. They have just demonstrated me the contrary. Simplicity does not pay.

All started when I registered on their website (2016-01-07). I deposited $250 and I was ready to learn how binary options work. I placed some trades on my own that day and got my account balance up to $400. Next day, a guy named Ben Harris called me by phone and told me he is my senior accout manager, we moved that conversation through Skype. He told me about the last NFP trading event where he had a client that went from $7000 to $17000. He convinced me to make another deposit of $250 in order to get my account up to $1300 ($400 current balance + $250 another deposit + $650 bonus = $1300). After I agreed and signed the bonus terms, I noticed my account balance was $1150, so not the promised one, but he told me that he could not receive the bonus on my winnings and I was cool with that.

We have been trading for 3 weeks and ended the January with $1350 in my account balance. As long as I have seen some profits since I traded his signals and made some mistakes on my own, I decided by the next month to raise my bet to $60-$70 per each trade (which is not more than 5% of my total balance) and trade only with Ben’s signals. I told him my strategy for the next month and he was trying to upgrade my account to a Silver level (“you are on 300+ profits if the account was as silver level and your trades were bigger you should have been to 1k + profits ans x3 turnover”). I did not want to deposit anymore.

Unexpectedly, next Monday I was assigned to another account manager (“Good Morning , Unfortunately yes I have to turn my attention to a new project so I had to pass the accounts of my portfolio to other managers , you are in good hands ,i gave them to account managers i worked close with .” “thank you and you with your bright investment future :p”).

I got in touch with my new account manager, Michelle Soares, who told me about her experience and how lucky I am to have this opportunity at this young age, Banc de Binary loves to help young and clever people like me and she will make me rich. She tried to convince me to upgrade to Silver level and asked about my amount of money available on the credit card. After that, she proposed me to move the $5000 from my credit card to Banc de Binary and promised me, by the end of the week, she will, personally, refund it. I asked her twice regarding this proposal, because I wanted to be sure I understood well. We proceeded to the deposit and since my credit card has a $2000 daily limit, I deposited only $2000. I had a Silver account then and decided to continue that way, she insisted that I must be a gold trader to enjoy trades with 0% risk. That happened on Tuesday. On Wednesday and Thursday, we deposited another $2000 and $1000. I was surprised that when I told her I am not at home and cannot remember the 16 digits from my credit card, she wrote all the credit card’s details on Skype. She has not deleted yet that message, even though I have requested her that before.

Total amount of $5000 was deposited and we were waiting for the next day event, the NFP. She tried to convince me deposit more, but I refused. She issued me the DOD, I signed it and sent back, but I received an e-mail from the compliance department. Since I used my credit card with my father’s name on it, they have requested additional documents in order to be sure I have authority to that credit card. I hardly managed to get them, but they were sent. Surprise! Michelle called me and told me that the compliance department did not want to accept the POA file (they suspected I was the one that signed for my father) and she is doing her best to let me trade for the event (2-3 hours left). I got another call after 20 minutes and she explained me I have to deposit another $2000, so the compliance department has to know I am a serious guy and will let me to trade. Sounded strange, but since she assured me that by the end of the day I will have my money back to my credit card ($7000 now), I have done that deposit. I cannot remember how many times I stressed her I could not afford to lose that money (it was my backup money for the college and she knows that) and I want it back by the end of the day, as she has promised before.

The event came, the money was gone. My account went from $8337 to $2337. She gave me 12 trades and lost all of them. Money I told her I could not afford to lose, $6000 thrown away in a matter of minutes. I stopped to trade any signal from her after that, told her it was enough, we entered into money we spoke to not and wanted to withdraw. She gave me signals to double up and after 4 minutes got back to me and told me to not. She insisted to continue and apologized that she was talking to other tens of people and did not know that I was running out of money. Seriously? I stressed you so many times about this during the week and I do not care with how many people you are talking since you have made me a promise. You cannot handle it, then leave it. However, she gave me “corrective” trades and assured me I will have my account recovered. I have decided to continue since the $10.000 turnover about that Ben told me was not passed. She gave me other 4 trades, told me to expect a call next Monday’s morning, we will recover the account, because she know herself and I have to trust her and wished me a nice weekend. By the end of the day, my account balance was $2062. Therefore, much more loss, even with her so called “corrective” trades.

She was out of office on Monday, so we managed a call on Tuesday. Michelle tried to make me cancel the withdrawal request insistently and put all the fault of last Friday on myself. She asked me if I want to withdraw just $2062, I said yes, because it is enough. After that, she remembered about my first deposit bonus of $500 and warned me that the turnover has not been passed yet. After a long time, she decided now to tell me that, because she has never told me that the turnover will change with my deposits. But how would have you managed to refund my promised $7000 back with this?

My account number is: 9/00010517074.

Update to my complaint: successful withdrawal $1933.62 out of $2062 requested ($5500 to recover now).
I have also been contacted by Leo Harris who was trying to calm me, but I have noticed his name in other complaints. As long as my complaint has stayed at their complaints department, they were trying to make me guilty for their actions (signals are from Trading Center and I was the one that put the trades) and insisting to give me a bonus ($2500), but I had already told them I do not accept bonuses, because that is a new trick to be sure I will never see a penny again from them. I regret that I have not recorded our calls during that week and I know that this is their advantage. I recorded 2 later calls from Michelle trying to make me cancel my withdrawal request, using pushy and unethical sales tactics ("do you want to be a looser?") and agreed that she promised me a refund (but of course, added a so called agreement between us to trade for a week, because I gave her just one day...lies). I came with a cashback offer ready to negotiate, but after almost a week they offered me $250 then $500.

Chat with Tracey:

[14:51:10] Tracey L: ok that is fine, I can advise our legal team of your intentions. The 500.00 cash back offer has been approved this end by the managers and the legal team as a fair good will gesture. If this is not acceptable then I am afraid a resolution will not be able to be reached.
[14:52:20] tibbi.k1zz: a fair good will gesture?!
[14:53:06] Tracey L: Yes I cannot see any wrong doing so it is a good will gesture.

From CySEC's website:
The CIF will give you a unique reference number (only for complaints submitted to CIF after 1.1.2016). This unique number reference will be used for all future communication you will have with the Financial Ombudsman and/or with CySEC regarding your complaint.
I did not receive a unique reference number for my complaint.

Chat with Evelina from complaints department:

[17.02.2016 14:26:57] Evelina S: First we need to clarify the details of the complaint
[17.02.2016 14:27:28] Evelina S: As per my understanding you had an agreement to trade for a week so that the protection could be applied
[17.02.2016 14:28:33] tibbi.k1zz: she didn't tell me that we need a week to trade, she lies
[17.02.2016 14:28:49] tibbi.k1zz: that's what she is saying now
[17.02.2016 14:28:57] Evelina S: Do you have evidence to support your claim?
[17.02.2016 14:29:26] tibbi.k1zz: if you are recording the skype calls...
[17.02.2016 14:29:34] tibbi.k1zz: but I m pretty sure you are not doing that
[17.02.2016 14:29:47] tibbi.k1zz: and that's why she insisted so many times to discuss via Skype call
[17.02.2016 14:30:16] tibbi.k1zz: but
[17.02.2016 14:30:39] tibbi.k1zz: why am I supposed to ask her and stress her so many times during that week
[17.02.2016 14:30:50] tibbi.k1zz: that by the end of Friday she has to refund my money
[17.02.2016 14:31:10] tibbi.k1zz: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and even on Friday
[17.02.2016 14:31:53] tibbi.k1zz: why would I have done that if she is supposing now that she told me about "one week agreement"
[17.02.2016 14:32:17] tibbi.k1zz: and you have some screenshots with different date&time
[17.02.2016 14:32:33] tibbi.k1zz: when i typed regarding my refund
[17.02.2016 14:32:37] tibbi.k1zz: by the end of Friday
[17.02.2016 14:41:11] tibbi.k1zz: I told her i could not afford to lose this money, if she would have ever told me that money will be involved in any trade...be sure i would not have deposited
[17.02.2016 17:06:58] tibbi.k1zz: is this clear for you?
[17.02.2016 17:30:10] Evelina S: Did you think that you wouldnt use your own funds to trade?
[17.02.2016 17:30:32] tibbi.k1zz: yes i did
[17.02.2016 17:30:53] tibbi.k1zz: i understood that i deposit money just to "buy" and benefit from the gold level
[17.02.2016 17:31:08] Evelina S: But that is not correct
[17.02.2016 17:31:09] tibbi.k1zz: asked Michelle so many times regardint that....
[17.02.2016 17:31:17] Evelina S: Trading doesnt work that way
[17.02.2016 17:31:30] Evelina S: I am now reading your skype conversation
[17.02.2016 17:31:49] Evelina S: When you were trading with Ben havent you been using your money to do so?
[17.02.2016 17:32:24] tibbi.k1zz: of course i used them, because that money was invested with the purpose of trading lol
[17.02.2016 17:32:47] tibbi.k1zz: all the $7000 deposited with Michelle wasn't for trading
[17.02.2016 17:32:59] tibbi.k1zz: she told me to move $5k from my pocket to banc de binary
[17.02.2016 17:33:08] tibbi.k1zz: so i could enjoy the benefit of a gold level account
[17.02.2016 17:33:27] tibbi.k1zz: and by the end of Friday she, PERSONALLY, will go to refund my money
[17.02.2016 17:33:33] tibbi.k1zz: she PROMISED that
[17.02.2016 17:34:05] tibbi.k1zz: and the rest of $2k, she said that the compliance department want to see if i am a serious guy
[17.02.2016 17:34:35] tibbi.k1zz: this is non-sense and abusive
[17.02.2016 17:44:31] Evelina S: Ok, lets talk about the trading session
[17.02.2016 17:44:41] Evelina S: You placed the trades yourself
[17.02.2016 17:44:51] Evelina S: Entering the amounts yourself
[17.02.2016 17:45:26] Evelina S: The refund was mentioned if you would have traded for a week
[17.02.2016 17:47:24] Evelina S: Its the agreement between you and the account manager
[17.02.2016 17:47:36] Evelina S: Not the obligation of the company
[17.02.2016 17:47:39] tibbi.k1zz: DID I SIGN SOMETHING REGARDING THAT?!
[17.02.2016 17:47:42] tibbi.k1zz: NO
[17.02.2016 17:47:49] Evelina S: Regarding what?
[17.02.2016 17:47:56] tibbi.k1zz: that "agreement"
[17.02.2016 17:48:09] Evelina S: Which agreement?
[17.02.2016 17:48:17] tibbi.k1zz: Its the agreement between you and the account manager
[17.02.2016 17:48:34] tibbi.k1zz: i didn't sign anything regarding that
[17.02.2016 17:48:39] Evelina S: Well, exactly, you havent
[17.02.2016 17:48:41] tibbi.k1zz: my funds weren't for trading
[17.02.2016 17:48:58] tibbi.k1zz: and i proved that
[17.02.2016 17:49:02] Evelina S: The funds are always for trading
[17.02.2016 17:49:03] tibbi.k1zz: since i have insisted SO MANY TIMES
[17.02.2016 17:49:11] tibbi.k1zz: so, she has lied to me
[17.02.2016 17:49:16] Evelina S: The trades that you have placed, were placed by you
[17.02.2016 17:49:23] Evelina S: Choosing the amount as well

Thank you for reading my story and hope this was clear for everyone. I will come back with updates if I miss something, I need your advice.

These parasitic reprobates (aka brokers) all follow the same script. They are not even intellient enough to create their own scams. The same thing happened to me at the GTOptions SCAM and AAoption SCAM. If you deposited via credit card you'll have some success with funds recovery...if you are persistant. Keep the pressure on these low-lifes & Best of luck.

Contact the credt card's issuing bank immediately. Ask to speak to the fraud department. Explain exactly what is going on that withdrawals of money in your account are a service BDB is not offering.

Then contact Cysec and the Cyprus Financial Ombudsman. Let them know that BDB is accepting 3rd party deposits. They should NEVER have accept a deposit from your father's card or from anyone else. A trader can use cards, but ONLY his/her own cards.
