• Please try to select the correct prefix when making a new thread in this folder.

    Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

    Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

    Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

    Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

    Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
    Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

Banc de Binary is Closing Down - are there any trustworthy binary brokers

Hello everyone.

Got an email today from FPA (I suppose everyone subscribed to FPA got it too) that banc de binary is going down and has been a scam. This broker has been recommended by many binary options blogs and if one was to ask me prior to this astonishing news, i would have bet my year salary that banc de binary were a reliable trusted broker. Really got me worried, seems you cant trust these brokers anymore. This comes after i deposited some money with another broker to try out binary options and now am having cold feet. I might end up losing all the little hard earn cash.

Is there a FPA approved list of trustworthy binary options brokers? It would be such a relief to see my broker on such a list
 
Banc de Binary paid well for those recommendations. Most of those blogs were really affiliate sites who didn't care if clients were robbed as long as the affiliate commissions were paid.

Binary Options is like betting on red or black at a casino, but with smaller payouts for winners.

Maybe someday an honest binary casino will emerge. Until then, treat binaries like the plague. Read this for more info:
