Bernanke Speech on past Friday 11/30/07

I was on Euro and Euro took a drop... later on I found out that Bernanke Speech and comments were the cause of the big movement on Euro.

This news was in no calendar at all.... i verified with so many calendars.

How can some one protect himself from these unexpected news?

I had a stop loss to it was not a big loss...but still.

Any input would be great.

The news was...

U.S. stocks rose, capping the best weekly gain since March, after Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke signaled he may cut interest rates and the Treasury moved closer to a plan to prevent thousands of Americans from losing their homes.
