Please try to select the correct prefix when making a new thread in this folder.
Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.
Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"
Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"
Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"
Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.More info coming soon.

I'm curious about this too. Possibilities that come to mind are that the losses were very sudden. Another very unpleasant one is that some brokers (I don't think FXCM is one of them) won't let a trader revoke an LPOA while any trades are open.

The majority of the loss occured whilst I was out on the 25/7/13 before this I felt the loss were half acceptable.

You can report them. Because they clearly state that they use stop loss and as you can see they did not. They stated that they will stop trading if equity falls below 75% and they did not. Pharraoh, where can he report that this trader intentionaly drowned the account of EricBubb.

This is the first time I am posting on any thread, but feel that I should contribute, As I too have yesterday recieved the same email as EricBubb did above.
I too invested $10,000 after the first month it stood at $14,000 and up until yesterday it was growing to $21,000, then yesterday I received the following email:
I am sorry to what happened to your account, I am very disappointed with our trader’s performance. I told the trader to discontinue trading in your account to stop further losses.

When I checked my forex account the balance had gone down to $1806.00
I am so upset and annoyed, as I was led to beleive that they would always used SL in all their trades, and that only a small portaion of your funds would be put at risk.
The last three trades that created the losses were all over $3,000 each and the final one went over $5,000 loss. I cannot understand how Blue Sea Forex have let individual trades go unmonitored and grow to such a large amount before terminating them.
It does however, sound suspect more than just a coincidence, that I too have had the same trader "Bader Hilal", the same account loss and email as EricBubb on the same day.
I am feeling very low and devasted at the moment, as this model potentially had so much opportunity, if it was managed correctly.

Yes exactly the same as my self the last few trades just wrote off the account. For what use it is I lodged a complaint with info@fxcm.com stating they did not trade my account in a professional manner and mention not stopping at 75% and not using stop loss. I also feel totally gutted.
