Broker Accounts

Hi to everybody at FPA. Im new to Forex and only just learning the fundamentals by trading on demo accounts by Instatrader, Smarttrader and Zulutrader.

I have read the reviews on Instatrader on here which has deterred me from joining. However I have considered joining Zulutrader. However the broker requires personal details (which is expected), but I am unwary for the request of passport/driving licence details which they say they require to confirm identification.

My question to you all within FPA, have you had to submit such details when joining new brokers?

Because of tax rules and anti-money laundering laws, all brokers have to collect a lot of personal information.

This is another reason to be very careful which broker you pick.
