Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Problem Caesar Trade scammed me

I am having an issue with a company
Hello CaesarTrade

Liz,

I understand your opinion is the company is always wrong... That being said, our company would never have been put into this position had the IB not attempted to SCAM her clients. As far as AML is concerned... we are not entitled to KEEP the money in our possession. If there are AML problems or violations the rules and laws are quite simple... Return the money from where it came from. No exceptions.

I'm only trying to work out if your company compiled with their own T&C rules and didn't pay any profits gained into this unverified account.

Also did this IB agent have any contract with your company

Good luck
Liz

Hello CaesarTrade

I'm only trying to work out if your company compiled with their own T&C rules and didn't pay any profits gained into this unverified account.

Also did this IB agent have any contract with your company

Good luck
Liz

Any funds sent back to the account in question represented only a return of deposit.

CaesarTrade accepted money in the name of people who were Caesar Trade clients. CaesarTrade made a HUGE mistake in allowing a single 3rd party to act as the single source of funds for multiple accounts.

Returning the money to the single source was legally the correct thing to do. If that source does not return the money owed to CaesarTrade's clients, then please explain to me why CaesarTrade should leave their clients with "too bad - we did all we legally had to do and it is now your problem, not ours."

Any company with a shred of ethics or integrity would be actively trying to assist those clients in recovering funds from the IB. Does CaesarTrade have enough of a scrap of a shred of ethics or integrity to even try to help clients?

I will address your questions point-by-point:

Returning the money to the single source was legally the correct thing to do. If that source does not return the money owed to CaesarTrade's clients, then please explain to me why CaesarTrade should leave their clients with "too bad - we did all we legally had to do and it is now your problem, not ours."

I am glad that you acknowledge that Caesar Trade acted in a legal manner. As far as us taking a "too bad" attitude... Although we have no further legal or ethical obligation to the IBs clients what we will offer is to cooperate with the clients of the IB and provide any information available to us to the them in their pursuit of the collection of their funds from the IB should they take legal action against the IB in their home country. If requested, we will provide any and all information necessary to assist them to do this.

Any company with a shred of ethics or integrity would be actively trying to assist those clients in recovering funds from the IB. Does CaesarTrade have enough of a scrap of a shred of ethics or integrity to even try to help clients?

Anyone who requests our assistance in this matter needs to contact us outside of this forum so we can protect the privacy of those involved. (If you choose to share information back with this forum, that is your right.) For this matter, we can be reached at compliance@caesartrade.com.

So, at this point, we can continue to debate legalities and ethics, but you yourself have acknowledged that our actions were the "legally correct thing to do". Given your acknowledgment, and our willingness to be transparent in this matter (and the fact that the rightful government regulator has already resolved this issue) we feel we have been more than ethical in this matter. Have a great weekend, and HAPPY TRADING!

Unless the owner of the Perfect Money account already transferred the money owed to each and every one of the CaesarTrade clients involved, your declaration of victory is premature...

We don't consider this to be a victory. Because of a scam that was perpetuated by the IB, there are no winners in this matter. Just a sad state of affairs that puts a black mark on our industry.

which you have been part of it by allowing this kind of monetary transaction

I am happy to at least see some progress here. CaesarTrade has finally woke up and acknowledged that they do have some obligations regarding assisting the individual clients who signed up. I hope this is enough to let them recover their deposits from the IB.

The IB broke the rules by handling the deposits. The clients who traded the accounts likely did not know that the IB was breaking rules (especially in light of CaesarTrade accepting the deposits placed in that fashion). After all, there are some brokers that do permit "local deposit" IBs (usually to the regret of all involved).

I wonder what that regulatory ruling Caesar Trade got regarding returning the initial funds to the original source said regarding the handling of the profits earned. Any chance of posting a copy of the ruling with all the personally identifying info blacked out?

I've not get any email from you. How I will get my money?

We sent emails yesterday to all related clients, but as I mentioned above, the email may have gone directly to Nguyen Van Minh.
