Creating a strategy with meta 4

How can I program and backtest a strategy for meta trader 4 platform? I do not have trade station and it's to pricey for me 250 amonth But I want to create and backtest a strategy and I need to get direction on how to do that. Any suggestions?:nerd:

First, you will need to learn how to code your strategy in MQL4. There are lots of tutorials on the web, but the best is probably found on MQL4.com . If you don't want to learn MQL, you could always pay someone to program it. Or, programmers on some of the forums may even do it for free (obviously dependent on how secretive you are about your strategy).
