Demo doesn`t have disadvantages. Every trader must go through demo before real trading. And even after that experienced traders are using demos for explore and practice new strategies.

An advantage of a demo account is when you screw up which you inevitably will when you're new, the money you lose will not be real money

Exactly a beginner not knows how trading works, He does many mistakes looses again and again. It is advised to do all these basic steps on demo so that he may not loose his amount. It is a big advantage that he can learn on demo free. Many times he can do mistakes and try to resolve his weaknesses. Demo is practice account to learn as much as you can without using your real money in market. After this you can avail investment for trading in live market.

Yeah and you will not suffer from any psychological tension. But it can become a habit and harm your trading on live account in future.

I do not know why some of the experienced traders stop newbies to work on the demo account although they, themselves, got success due to their practice on the demo account. It is really a wrong thing to stop others while doing something yourself. Am I right guys?

Yes there is no harm to practice on demo . If they practice on live account even with micro lots they can not understand standard trading . They can be imaginative by using high capital of demo but not stop others to use free platform of demo trading. It is very useful to understand forex trading as well as brokers dealing , than will test many tings on demo to choose best for himself.
