6 months is optimal time. But learning is individual process. Someone will be enough 6 weeks, and someone will not learn for 6 years.

I think it's a way too much personally if you ask me. I assume you really do care about it. But please as soon as you started to take some grasp of that better switch out to real money account, way too many brokers "ease" their demo account, don't judge live account on that.

micro lot real account is vital too

I read in the School of Pipsology the suggestion to trade for six months on a demo account before trading on a live account. Six months seems like a long time.

I think thats a reasonable time to be demoing, don't want to get it wrong on your real accounts

You can't achieve instant results without practice. Demo trading is a must unless you are comfortable with trading. Demo trading term is totally depends on you.

I think you shouldn't set a time on it......after a min of 6 months go live when you are consistently profitable.

6 months trading with Demo account is not fix time period for become successful trader. It's totally depends on your understanding about Forex market as well as Forex Trading.

Yes, forex trading is not easy, this is no get rich quick scheme, survive in this business required high dedication and intention to learn better, but still possible to making a profit from this field
